The experience AJC’s Rabbi Allyson Zacharoff shared last week in an interview with @Agensir, the news agency of the Italian Catholic Church, reflects a troubling reality facing many American Jews today. Even for those who proudly and openly express their Jewish identity, moments of fear and calculation have become an increasingly common part of daily life. According to AJC’s State of Antisemitism in America 2025 Report, more than half of American Jews say they changed their behavior out of fear of antisemitism, and 91% say they feel less safe as Jews in the United States due to violent attacks in the past year. No one should feel compelled to hide visible signs of their Jewish identity to stay safe. Confronting antisemitism, wherever it appears, remains an urgent responsibility. bit.ly/47LKBfn

Today is the 7th anniversary of the white supremacist terror attack on two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, which left 51 people dead. We stand in solidarity with the survivors and call on governments, communities, and tech companies to confront this lethal ideology.

The India–Middle East–Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC) represents a powerful shift in regional dynamics that will link India, the Middle East, and Europe through new infrastructure, trade, and strategic cooperation. The deepening partnership between India and Israel underscores this momentum. At the NXT Conclave 2026, attended by more than 5,000 participants and featuring over 100 speakers from 20+ countries, AJC Chief Policy and Political Affairs Officer Jason Isaacson joined a panel moderated by @AJC_Asia Director Shira Loewenberg to offer regional perspectives on the emerging new world order. #NXT2026 Watch now: youtube.com/watch?v=L8zCs1…

Once again, this time in Detroit, Jews were targeted at their place of worship.
Once again, Jews faced mortal danger simply because of who they are.
Today in America, when Jews gather—whether at a synagogue or a community event—it’s increasingly behind metal detectors and under the watch of armed security.
According to @AJCGlobal’s State of Antisemitism in America 2025 Report, 91% of American Jews say they feel less safe as Jewish people in the United States because of the violent attacks against Jews over the past year.
We’re not asking for special treatment.
We’re not asking for more outrage.
We’re asking for something simple: that people everywhere stand up, clearly and unequivocally, and say that this violent hatred will no longer be tolerated.

Targeting a synagogue and Jewish preschool children over a war 6,000 miles away in the Middle East is blatant antisemitism. It is Jew-hatred in its purest form. There is no justification. None. I joined @CNN’s @AudieCornish to discuss why the events in Detroit should alarm every American and serve as a moment for moral clarity.

We strongly condemn the reported attack on the Palestinian village of Abu Faleh by Israeli extremists which left at least two people dead and comes amid a troubling wave of violence that has reportedly killed five people in the past week. All such incidents must be thoroughly investigated, and those responsible held accountable under the law. Israeli leaders should denounce these attacks and take steps to prevent further violence and ensure the safety of all civilians. timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry…

Conspiracy theories about Jewish control have permeated the conversation about the Iran conflict. AJC's Center for a New Middle East is here to debunk them, and answer other tough questions brought to the forefront by this operation.

It was a pleasure to meet with @JapanAmbIndia Ono Keiichi, an AJC @projinterchange alumnus, here in Delhi! Japan and India are vital partners for the U.S., not just in the Indo-Pacific, but around the world. We also welcome the strong relationships that both countries share with Israel, another close U.S. partner.

The Iranian women’s soccer team refused to sing the Iranian national anthem before their Asia Cup match against South Korea. Their silence spoke volumes. The Iranian people are rising. Their courage is extraordinary. AJC stands with them in their fight for freedom from a regime that has oppressed them for far too long.

Nearly 50% of the missiles and UAVs fired by the Iranian regime have been aimed at the UAE. Tehran’s actions threaten U.S. partners across the region and put broader Middle East stability at risk.

Today, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE were all attacked by the Iranian regime. These six countries, together with other Arab partners and allies, uniformly condemned the attacks as a flagrant violation of their national sovereignty and an unacceptable escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region. This aggression is also a stark reminder of the shared threats facing both Israel and the Arab world, and of the need for deeper regional cooperation. Our thoughts are with the people of the Middle East. May this period of upheaval give way to a more stable, secure, and integrated future.

I spent sixteen years in government. In the Florida State Senate, we became the first state in America to stand up to Iran’s brutal regime by cutting off state investments in companies helping Iran develop nuclear weapons. How did we get everyone onboard? Because Iranian-made IEDs were killing our brave soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. Democrats and Republicans spoke with one voice when the legislation passed unanimously. In Congress, it was the same. We passed sanctions - together - to pressure Iran to abandon its nuclear weapons program. We overwhelmingly condemned the regime’s repression of women, its persecution of the Baha’i and other minorities, its repeated violation of the human rights of its citizens, and its support for terrorism around the world. Again and again, Republicans and Democrats stood side by side calling out the regime, its terrorist IRGC, and the proxy terror groups it funded at the expense of its own people. Together, we remembered the victims, from our Marine Barracks in Beirut to our personnel in Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia; from Buenos Aires to Burgas, and the hundreds of brave American soldiers killed by Iran-backed militias and weaponry. So many Americans killed. So many innocent civilians murdered. All by this radically dangerous regime. We held hearings about these threats over and over again. But it was never just about the extent of the horrors spread by Iran. It was also personal. I represented Bob Levinson, the longest-held American hostage in history. I came to know his family as they fought tirelessly to bring Bob home from Iran, inspiring everyone who met them. Administrations of both parties tried. None succeeded. Over 4,700 days. As their Member of Congress, I desperately wanted to welcome Bob home. But he died in Iranian captivity. Throughout my sixteen years in office, there were always colleagues on my right and my left who stood together to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons because we understood what this regime was capable of. Kidnapping. Murder. Terror. Today we live in a time of intense partisanship. That’s the environment in which this war is happening. But any time an American President makes the sobering decision to use force, it is appropriate and necessary for Congress to exercise its oversight. I certainly did so during Republican and Democratic administrations. Even as this debate plays out, we all need to acknowledge the history of this dangerous Iranian regime and its threat to the world. The Supreme Leader and his forces have brought suffering to their own people, chaos to the region, and violence to the world. The blood of American soldiers and innocent civilians from across the globe is on their hands. The blood of the tens of thousands protesters they recently slaughtered is not even dry. So let’s pause for a moment to stand together - To acknowledge that the world is safer without the Ayatollah’s terror. To stand with the Iranian people in their pursuit of freedom. To support the brave Americans serving in harm’s way. For all of our political disagreements, we all share a stake in the success of this moment and this war. That’s what I’m hoping and praying for. God bless America.

Jewish students are still experiencing antisemitism both inside and outside the classroom since the October 7, 2023 Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel. AJC and @HillelIntl partnered to survey Jewish students’ experiences during their time on campus, here’s what we found: - 42% reported experiencing antisemitism - 32% say they have felt that student life and/or student activities promoted antisemitism or fueled a learning environment hostile to Jews - 25% say they have felt or been excluded from a group or event on campus because they are Jewish AJC’s Center for Education Advocacy fosters academic environments that refuse to normalize antisemitism in any form, so that Jewish students are safe, included, and empowered.
