AJC Asia retweetledi

The experience AJC’s Rabbi Allyson Zacharoff shared last week in an interview with @Agensir, the news agency of the Italian Catholic Church, reflects a troubling reality facing many American Jews today. Even for those who proudly and openly express their Jewish identity, moments of fear and calculation have become an increasingly common part of daily life.
According to AJC’s State of Antisemitism in America 2025 Report, more than half of American Jews say they changed their behavior out of fear of antisemitism, and 91% say they feel less safe as Jews in the United States due to violent attacks in the past year.
No one should feel compelled to hide visible signs of their Jewish identity to stay safe. Confronting antisemitism, wherever it appears, remains an urgent responsibility.
