It's an v strong squad overall even if it needs some reinforcements in summer. Slot has used it horrifically all season with the odd exception. Slot lost twice to Galatasaray, this dominant win shows that a different approach with same players how much superior we actually are.

One thing that maybe went a bit under the radar was how Ibou Konaté dealt with Baris Yilmaz in some pure running duels in the channel, Yilmaz is insanely fast and Ibou made it a no-contest every single time.
He's had a rocky season, but the highest level is still in there...

That was absolutely fantastic. That's the Liverpool we love and want to see. Start with work rate and effort and let the rest take care of itself. Let's get straight at PSG and not get caught up giving them far too much respect. We are an incredible side, once we believe we are.

The tactical tweaks that saw the full backs high and wide and Mo more narrow really worked, but the real difference was the intent and tempo we played at. For whatever reason we are just always a better team when we aren’t being passive. More of it please.

For the first time this season it feels like Arne Slot has recognised the power of Anfield especially in a European knockout round.
The intensity, energy and intent was there from the OFF tonight! Gives the fans something to get behind and bounce off. Subsequently raising our game.
No doubt the obvious frustration after that game is the feeling of “why couldn’t we do that last week”🤣
But it’s almost impossible to be happier after a result and performance like that!

For most of this season that back heel flick is underhit. If it’s weighted great than the first touch receiving it is too heavy and even if the first touch is good the shot is skied into row Z. We played with more conviction in the final 3rd today than most of this season.

Fluidity = intensity. Orbiting is fundamental, the pace is just 1-2 taps. It doesn't take much to achieve both effectiveness and efficiency
