s*x differences are real… but nail polish and dolls aren’t biological categories. They’re just toys and colours. Telling a boy he can’t paint his nails doesn’t protect him… it just teaches him to feel wrong for liking something harmless..

Boys and girls are not the same. If my son wants to paint his nails or play with dolls, it’s my job to say no, you’re a boy. And boys don’t do that.

It's like Parenting Lite. I love it. I love giving them memories I didn't get, offering them someone besides their parents to talk to and get advice from, someone they can bitch to and know it's not gonna get back to Mom and Dad (unless it's Serious Stuff but they know that)
