@Aportzline all interchangeable non-core players, Don is throwing money and making commitments at the wrong personnel. Garland is invisible when he's not scoring , Coyle is on the wrong side of 30, and Provorov just seems lost at times.

This is very much the changing of an era in Columbus Blue Jackets Hockey. Don Waddell being named Pres. of Hockey Ops basically means he’ll assess the situation on his own and go through his own GM hiring process. If the CBJ was stuck in their ways, they would’ve just hired a new GM and ran. They didn’t. They want to build a winner and this is a big step. Have to give major props to JD as well. Stepping aside into a different role for the betterment of the club speaks volumes. Especially on the heels of firing his guy in Jarmo. Nothing but good things to say about this move. I’m excited to see what’s next for our beloved franchise
