@ReissNFFC Again, it should have been handball. But some fuckwit has devised the rule in such a way that it can be deems not handball so it really isn’t that simple. Utd fans are right in quoting the rule But also the Forest fans and ABUs are right that it should be handball

@AManCalledPaul Not interested in before tbh. It was a handball, anyone with a brain knows it was, it’s as simple as that.

@MasterMaliq I agree, Muslims aren’t dangerous. Islam is. Because it can be interpreted in a way that can cause people to do evil things. Much like any religion. If you normalise believing in the irrational based on faith, you normalise and facilitate indoctrination

Muslims are not dangerous. We are human beings like everyone else, with families, love, care, and ordinary lives. Our faith teaches compassion, not hatred. Our Prophet taught respect and mercy. Yes, there are a few extremists who distort our religion and bring shame to it, but they do not represent the vast majority of Muslims. So why is it that many still get profiled and treated as suspects? Is it fear, or hate?

@ReissNFFC You would think so. But then that’s not what the rule says and it’s not how it has been interpreted before. The decision to allow the Brighton goal that was almost identical for example, which weirdly, Howard Webb defended

@AManCalledPaul It’s more than enough to apply common sense and class it as deliberate handball as gained a huge advantage from it.

@ReissNFFC *Should be handball. Nobody disagrees with that. Unfortunately, the rules suggest different

@MagistratesBlog Very very dangerous precedent to set in accepting self-defence against a lawful arrest as a plausible defence. Cops are going to have a nightmare going forward. It’s effectively legalised violently resisting arrest

@Was_Sgt__S Or, 6 of the 24 jury members vetoed a guilty verdict

@NormanBrennan @DavidLammy I’d be in favour of abolishing juries. It’s too easy for a small number of people with an agenda to veto a guilty verdict Have one presiding judge + 2 observing judges, they all produce their full written judgement independent and incommunicado; and the majority is the verdict

@poker_biker @havingagiraf It’s unenforceable. There’s nothing that forces a juror to disclose their reasoning for a decision

Still no verdict, in its 9th day of deliberations in what is a clear open and shut case. Did he punch a policewoman in the face , breaking her nose ? Yes he did. Any evidence of that ? Yes, a very clear video clip of him doing exactly that. The fact a jury are pretending or refusing to acknowledge that is alarming. Why are they not finding them guilty ??? How would you fix it ???

@AManCalledPaul @Clarkey_No1 In essence because of what we have already been told. Than the ball came of his hip first. However, he seemingly did not consider or refused to consider the reaction and outcome of the ‘control’ element of the scenario.

No bus throwing. It was just wrong. Serenaded by the hip coming into play, that law doesn't dictate you can control the bloody ball and create a goalscoring chance. Would never catch anyone associated with MU throwing officials under bus 😂
Annie Eaves@AnnieEaves

To throw an official under the bus for a decision that could be justifiable looks like a blatant attempt to take heat off PGMOL for how absurdly complicated the rules and guidelines have made officiating. Put it all on the individual instead.

But he made the correct decision going off the current laws of the game. Was Mbeumo the one who scored? No Was the hand ball accidental? Yes Did the ball hit another part of his body first before hitting his arm? Yes All 3 things means the goal correctly stood
FFSForest@Forest_No_22

Michael woke up this morning and thought, ‘I’m gonna be the first ref to stick with my decision and not be influenced by VaR’. Which would’ve been commendable. Had he not chosen an absolute stone wall handball to disagree with 🙄 #NFFC

@karenwa25048088 They wouldn’t be 4 points worse off. Had United needed another goal in that game, they’d have got it. They had 2 or 3 more gears to move up into had they needed to. Likewise in the Liverpool game

Two hand ball decisions go in their favour meaning they pick up 6 points in the two games, if both decisions had been correctly officiated Man U would be 4 points worse off. How many more times will we put up with officials not doing their job correctly 😡

Michael Salisbury should NEVER be allowed to referee a professional football match again. Twice in 3 weeks he has failed to penalise a blatant handball (Fernandes v Everton) and yesterday at Old Trafford. Both accepted as wrong by @FA_PGMOL. The man is incompetent.

@Rory_Talks_Ball They’re all still acknowledging they were right all along seeing as PGMO have said the ref was justified in allowing the goal. They’ve basically just said the goal shouldn’t have been given because meh
