Check out the time-lapse of our final bridge replacement of the LIRR Expansion Project, located at Denton Ave. Using innovative construction techniques, the new bridge was installed over a single weekend— beginning Friday evening with service restored by Monday AM rush hour.

Here is an up-close look at our track laying machine putting in new concrete ties near New Hyde Park. Concrete ties are not only more durable, they also enable a smooth and reliable ride. We're working towards installing them throughout our system.

Toured several of the @MTA’s newer projects this week, including Moynihan Train Hall, Penn Access, and East Side Access, as well as improvements to subways. Impressive progress, with more to come.

If you've been to Penn Station recently, you can see we're renovating the LIRR concourse, which includes raising the ceilings. But to do that our team had to innovatively address the underground sewer boxes Here's how they're doing that to get the job done! @AModernLI

We removed grade crossings, renovated stations, built new bridges, widened track bays & added new substations. With all of that done, the LIRR Expansion Project now turns to building 9.8 miles of a new THIRD TRACK!🛤 You can see some of that progress here west of Merillon Ave.
