@ANC4C is leading a community cleanup this Saturday March 21 and would love for you to join! Meet at Rue Cafe (14th + Randolph) at 10am, all cleanup materials provided, and free coffee for volunteers! 🥳

We are closely following the tragic traffic accident at Georgia + Upshur St NW that occurred last night. @ANC4C Commissioners were on the scene and will continue to serve as a resource to the community as we learn more information. @DDOTDC @CMLewisGeorgeW4

New location address: 4501 Kansas Ave NW, main entrance is at 7th + Allison St NW. Attendees will go through security to enter the building (no weapons/lighters/etc). Limited parking in Haynes parking lot, but lots of free parking spots on side streets of Allison, 7th, + Kansas

At the last @ANC4C meeting, commissioners stated if they plan to seek re-election this fall. Looks like ANC seats 4C01, 4C03, 4C04, 4C06 will all be vacant - if you live there + want to make a difference, please consider running for one of these positions! @petworthdcnews

It’s an exciting week for @ANC4C! Tonight’s meeting in the Petworth Library features @MayorBowser at 7pm to answer questions about public safety and the budget, and Sunday (10am-12pm) is our community clean-up in/around Grant Circle. @petworthdcnews @CMLewisGeorgeW4

DC Tutoring and Mentoring Initiative provides support for kids, including help leveling up in reading and math and ideally turning around chronic absenteeism. Two upcoming events, including one in Petworth, for neighbors to get involved as mentors! @ANC4C @Janeese4DC
