@dfds_ukire Yee left me hanging there for 12 hours with little info and basic facilities then when I was left with no option but to travel over UK, yee charged me the premium last minute fare on Dunkirk - Dover. All night drive across UK then ferry to ROI. What a way to treat your customer👎

I met Siobhan, whose daughter Rhiannon was murdered by an illegal immigrant in a small boat She rightly blames the government for letting him into the country He arrived in late July 2024 and would have been eligible to be deported to Rwanda. If Labour had allowed the Rwanda scheme to start as planned, maybe Rhiannon would still be alive today

@LiamFox And you dare to call me a terrorist, as you look down your gun. And I think of all the deeds that you have done. You have conquered many nations, divided many lands, you have terrorised our people, you rule with an iron hand

Once again today the BBC online news website described Hezbollah thus: "Hezbollah are a Shia Muslim political and military group in Lebanon which has been involved in a series of conflicts" Really? Hezbollah is proscribed in its entirety as a terrorist organization in the UK under the Terrorism Act 2000. Membership, support, or flying the group's flag is a criminal offence. This covers both its military and political wing. There is no ambivalence. What is wrong with the BBC?

Emily you are clearly desperate. @NickFerrariLBC was asking about a feeling of safety on our streets, when friends get mugged, when family get attacked you do feel vulnerable and unsafe even at 8am when someone comes at you wanting cash (I didn’t go into detail as I thought it unfair to the individual). But hey all the Conservatives who think our streets are safe rather than deal with the underlying problem . Then good luck to you. See what the public think of you and the Conservative Chairman & others who poke fun at people feeling vulnerable on our streets.
Emily Sheffield@emilysheffield

Winston Churchill was indeed a hero. But Reform members now talk about being scared of people “who look like they haven’t slept for a week” in the streets of London. How heroism changes.

Trump has killed the awful Chagos deal. Let’s hope he’ll do the same to the dangerous Chinese Embassy plans The Special Relationship is over, as I warned last year. 👇

The #BBC’s problem was a failure to recognise its own bias. I raised issue this with senior BBC management on numerous occasions. Credulous reporting of Hamas propaganda as fact, selective editing of President Trump, not pulling the Bob Villain feed, the rebuke of Martine Croxall, etc etc They saw each “mistake” as being in isolation and couldn’t or wouldn’t see a wider pattern. I hope that this episode will trigger a broader look at bias, groupthink, and political fashion within the BBC by the BBC. I want the BBC to succeed, it’s a powerful British brand, but it needs a proper kick up the arse for that to happen. Perhaps this is it.

I'm glad the US President and the rest of the world are seeing the BBC for what it is. Its failure to tell the truth on everything from transgender ideology to economics to Gaza has done huge damage to politics and government in this country. This should be the end of nationalised broadcasting.

Sky News has made a clarification amounting to: We, along with the rest of the media, the government & political class, were so determined to present Maccabi Tel Aviv fans as angelic victims of antisemitism that we accidentally forgot to mention their previous violent rampages.

Lab, Con & LibDems today all agreed the decision by Weds Mids police to ban the Jewish fans is wrong, disgraceful etc, but nothing they can do because ‘operational independence’. Only Reform UK will change the law to put the police under the control of elected politicians.

** BREAKING ** Conservatives will be BANNED from standing as Tory candidates at the next general election unless they sign up to leaving the European Convention on Human Rights, Kemi Badenoch tells @CamillaTominey. @GBNEWS Camilla Tominey: Robert Jenrick, your colleague has suggested that if they don't sign up to this plan, they should be kicked out of the party. Do you agree with that? Kemi Badenoch: Well, I was very clear at the shadow cabinet where we agreed completely. It was unanimous that we cannot have a party where people do not abide by manifesto commitments. If you do not agree with leaving the ECHR, then you should not and cannot stand as a conservative candidate at the election. CT: So are you saying you will kick people out if they rebel against this? KB: They can be in the party but they cannot stand as MPs. CT: They cannot stand at the next general election? KB: No no no no no. We have lots of members who have lots of views. We don't remove people for having slightly different views on policy. But if you want to be a Member of Parliament as a Conservative, then you need to understand that leaving the ECHR is a manifesto commitment. More now at @GBNEWS.

@Keir_Starmer Negotiating with people your government proscribed as terrorist while claiming your gov doesn’t negotiate with terrorists. Are they terrorists or are they not? Now you conflate the UK Jewish community with Israeli gov actions. What a tangled web you’ve weaved.

I urge anyone thinking about protesting this weekend to recognise and respect the grief of British Jews. This is a moment of mourning. It is not a time to stoke tension and cause further pain. It is a time to stand together. We are a country that welcomes all people, no matter their faith, to stand under the same flag as neighbours and friends. That is who we are and who we will always be. Hatred and violence will never win.
