APEDA showcased India’s diverse agri-export basket at the 40th edition of AAHAR 2026, held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi from 10th to 14th March 2026. The APEDA Pavilion brought together exporters, startups, producer organisations and State representatives to highlight India’s strengths in Basmati and Non-Basmati Rice, Organic Products, plant-based foods and value-added agricultural products. Spread across 2,500 sq. metres with participation from over 100 exhibitors, the pavilion served as a dynamic platform for industry interactions, product showcases, and buyer engagement. Research reports on key commodities, developed with ICRIER as Knowledge Partner, were also released, alongside packaging design initiatives in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP). The consignment was ceremonially flagged off in the presence of senior state officials and APEDA representatives, reflecting strong institutional support for farmers and exporters from the North Eastern Region.
