At the CARET/BAA Washington Conference, volunteer advocates from across the nation came together to amplify the power of agricultural research, Extension, and teaching. We are inspired by the commitment shown by our CARET delegates, BAA leaders, and partners. #CARET2026 ⭐

On March 2, 1887, the U. S. Congress approved the Hatch Act, establishing agricultural experiment stations at land-grant universities across all 50 states. Today, these Experiment Stations continue to conduct cutting edge-research in issues critical to food & national security.
