@stuey_beef Labour were elected. They are socialist. EU is socialist. They would always want to align.

In 2016, 17.4 million people voted to stop sending money to Brussels and stop being subject to its rules. In 2026, Keir Starmer is in talks to send Brussels £2.9 billion a year — permanently — and is openly not ruling out returning to the Single Market. Nobody voted for this. Nobody was asked. The people who howled loudest about “respecting democracy” after 2016 are now engineering the reversal of it, one “ambitious trade deal” at a time.

@TheRealJamieKay Didn't the advert have some mild racism or prejudice in it. Or, 'humour', as it used to be called.

Aww Bots. I admire your tenacity. But you're just not clever enough are you. Adding 'why is that' and 'what has happened to this country' and 'what has changed' to a post. Makes you stick out like a Honeymooner's dick.

@davidkurten It's just you. If you're willing to pay that, they're willing to charge you. You are not forced.

Is it just me, or does £7.50 for a coffee and a croissant in a cafe seem extortionate?

@BenGrahamUK The progress humanity has made since it stopped seeing value from advocating imaginary friends completely outstrips the progress before.

HILARIOUS: Reporter: “Iranian government threatened a bunch of U.S. companies in the region today.” President Trump: “With what? What did they threaten them with? BB guns or? They don't have much left to threaten.” Reporter: “My question for you is—” President Trump: “You made a statement. What did they threaten them with? I don't know. Tell me. How did they threaten them?” Reporter: “All I know is that they threatened them, sir.” President Trump: “What does that mean?” Reporter: “Fair enough.” President Trump: “They said something nasty?” Reporter: “Are you helping to back stop them?” President “Trump: You don't even know what the threat was. What was the threat? I haven't heard it. What was the threat? Did they say they're going to blow them up? You know what they're not going to do? They're not going to hit them with a nuclear weapon.”

@AvonandsomerRob This issue isn't range, it's time. When a petrol car is out of range, it's almost certain that refueling cam be found and it takes 10 minutes. This is not yet the case for EV.

The argument against electric vehicles has always been around range. Your average petrol car has a range of 400 miles. This Mercedes CLA AMG 250 EV can crack 500 miles on a 30 minute charge. It will also cost you less than £40 monthly in company car tax, compared to £500 or more for the fossil fuel versions. Company Car fleets have ditched petrol/diesel. When will private motorists follow suit?
