@markmywords @GovernmentZA Spot on, none of these public officials should earn more then R800,000 p.a. before unemployment is down to 10%. Absolutely all of them, no exception.

Ooooh I love seeing new water pipes being installed! 😍🏗️ Here’s a new and upgraded bulk water main along Govan Mbeki Road, Gugulethu. Bringing better water access and more dignity to the residents of Gugs and surrounds! 🚰💙

Gauteng residents have been betrayed by political parties like the EFF, ActionSA, MK Party, and Rise Mzansi who opposed the motion of no confidence against Premier Panyaza Lesufi. This is an endorsement of corruption cover ups and poor leadership! da.org.za/2025/11/gauten…

✅ 🏆 Proof that where the DA governs, we deliver! DA-led Municipalities have once been recognised for service delivery excellence, with 7 achieving clean audits for 10 consecutive years and more. This means that your public funds are spent on delivering better services for all.

#helenzille said, "The DA raises a huge amount of money from better off suburbs and cross-subsidises to give the poor the best free basic services package in the country. It spends billions in investing in infrastructure for the poor."

@CyrilRamaphosa Mr President, DA #budgetfromhell and unlawful tariffs in CT. Since 2004, average municipal accounts in CT have skyrocketed by between 700% and 1200%, while the Consumer Price Index up by 290% same period. The reality -people are being systematically priced out of their homes.

As we work to build a more professional, accountable and capable public service, we need to bring the public service closer to the people they serve. We must challenge the idea that public servants are providers and citizens are mere beneficiaries of goods and services. 🔗 tinyurl.com/dvk2stpp

@alechogg Will NEVER happen. Let me tell you why, demographics. People who want positive change are in the absolute minority. The majority just want handouts. There is no saving South Africa. It's demise is now inevitable.

We DO have the people in South Africa who can transform this Republic of No Consequences: put Glynis and others like her into positions of real power. SA suffers a crisis of Leadership, not resources. It’s possible for our economy to rebound, and quickly - all we need is citizens who care enough to vote for dobermans, not lapdogs.

Apparently British authorities have issued an arrest warrant for Julius Malema 😂😂
Alice VL@RiseAgainstEvil

Oh. My. Hat. Hey @Julius_S_Malema, what now? I thought your "ancestors" are so powerful - they don't play? 😂😂😂 In a major development shaking South Africa’s political landscape, President Cyril Ramaphosa has publicly addressed — for the first time — the international arrest warrant issued for Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema by the United Kingdom. Speaking at the Union Buildings in Pretoria during a joint press conference with visiting EU dignitaries, Ramaphosa confirmed that his office had been formally briefed by the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) and the South African Police Service (SAPS) regarding the UK’s legal request. We are aware of the arrest warrant issued by British authorities for Mr. Julius Malema,” the President said. “As a constitutional democracy governed by the rule of law, South Africa will follow the appropriate legal and diplomatic channels. No individual is above the law — not in South Africa, and certainly not abroad. This marks Ramaphosa’s first public comment since reports emerged last week that a UK Magistrates’ Court issued a sealed warrant for Malema in connection with an alleged money laundering and organized financial crime investigation involving a British-based shell company, Rutherford Consulting Ltd, which is said to have ties to multiple African political figures. British prosecutors allege that Malema either knowingly or indirectly benefitted from over £4.2 million (approximately R100 million) that flowed through off-shore corporate accounts tied to Rutherford Consulting — a firm registered in London but allegedly operating as a “politically shielded laundering front” for high-profile African elites. The transactions, reportedly flagged by UK’s National Crime Agency (NCA) and Interpol, date back to 2020–2023 and involve illicit movement of funds under the guise of “consulting fees” for “Pan-African land reform initiatives.” British authorities contend that no such programs existed and that the payments were funneled into encrypted wallets, luxury real estate, and European legal retainers. Malema has denied all allegations, dismissing the warrant as “colonial vengeance disguised as due process. President Ramaphosa’s statement is being viewed as a delicate diplomatic maneuver — balancing growing domestic unrest from EFF supporters with rising pressure from international partners. We will not pre-empt legal processes or interfere with the sovereignty of other jurisdictions,” Ramaphosa added. “South Africa has treaties and cooperative frameworks with the United Kingdom. If a formal extradition request is received, it will be reviewed through the proper judicial channels. Mr. Malema, like any citizen, is entitled to the presumption of innocence until proven otherwise. But we must not allow political identity to insulate anyone from accountability. Political insiders say Ramaphosa had been under mounting pressure to speak, particularly after the UK Foreign Office summoned the South African High Commissioner to London earlier this week for urgent consultations. The diplomatic note reportedly emphasized Britain’s expectation for “transparent cooperation” in accordance with the 2003 Extradition Treaty between the two nations. youtu.be/z-OBMuokbnk?si…

John Steenhuisen has made it clear that there are huge problems with crime in SA and that he’s working to fight for rural safety. He has also made it clear that the reason the DA is in national government is to keep Malema and Zuma out.
