In a remarkable medical milestone, a 21-year-old South African man who received the world’s first successful penis transplant went on to father a child just six months after the groundbreaking surgery. The historic operation took place in December 2014 at Tygerberg Hospital in Cape Town. Led by a team from Stellenbosch University, the complex nine-hour procedure restored the penis of a young man who had lost his organ due to severe complications during a traditional circumcision ritual. Just three months after the transplant, the patient had already regained normal urinary and sexual function. Six months post-surgery, his partner gave birth to a healthy baby — clear proof that the transplanted organ was fully functional. The case shines a light on the serious dangers of unregulated traditional circumcision practices in South Africa, where dozens of boys suffer life-altering injuries or death each year. While penis transplantation is not a life-saving procedure in the traditional sense, the medical team stressed its profound psychological importance. Many men who suffer genital mutilation experience deep stigma, depression, and in some cases, suicidal thoughts. Lead surgeon Dr. Andre van der Merwe noted that restoring this essential part of a man’s body can dramatically rebuild his sense of identity, dignity, and self-worth. Using advanced microsurgical techniques similar to those developed for face transplants, the team meticulously reconnected tiny blood vessels and nerves — a technical achievement that could open the door to more such procedures in regions where penile injuries are tragically common.

“One of the main problems in the countryside is dogs. Muslims don’t like dogs.” Liberal commentator complains the British countryside is racist and Muslims avoid going there because too many people walk their dogs, which are haram in Islam. These people are really insane.

@ErnstRoets The old regime dumbed down the curriculum so that the majority of black South Africans could read and write and follow basic instructions. This allowed them to be employable as general labour and artisans.

Heartbreaking news as the genocide of the white minority in South Africa continues: The victims of the double murder on a farm in Glen Loerie, near The Crags, Eastern Cape Province, South Africa, have been identified as Dr Jane Luck (71), a prominent local psychologist and art therapist, and her husband Rolf Luck (77). Keep the white farmers of South Africa in your prayers they facing terrible persecution from a vile government trying to steal their land.

@ZssBecker I tend to agree - it's useful so long as you have decent rails in place and check the code it produces. Tech debt slips in quickly and you need to be on top of this - I spend less time coding, more time testing

I vibe code every day. I have a team of 30+ engineers. We spend F tons of credits. And I will tell you this about AI from my experience. It’s being wildly over hyped. Everyone is drunk. Fucking drunk. All the CEOs and Gen Z’s saying coding is dead are idiots. IDIOTS.

A “security group” around the Rusholme and Victoria Park area near Manchester Central Mosque has decided to start their own security firm. “Manchester Community Watch” started as a WhatsApp group for reporting “unjust behavior” against minorities. It quickly grew to over 130 verified recruits through a strict ID + selfie verification process to keep out bad actors. The group has now applied for Security Industry Authority licences so they can operate legally as a private security firm.

@Joe__Bassey Europeans and East Asians typically have aroun 2-4% Neanderthal in them. But what this presentation misses is the 2-19% "ghost" DNA carried by Africans - I am willing to bet that this is likely the reason Africans have failed in civilisations.
