The Giants could go a lot of ways tonight with the 5th pick of Round 2 (No. 37), but DT stands out as a glaring need without Dexter Lawrence. Only two DTs went in Round 1, so if Kayden McDonald (6-2, 327) or Christen Miller (6-3, 321) are there, I don't know how they pass.

@BobbySkinner_ My dream scenario is a trade back from 5 to 9 netting 40. This way you can fill all the holes. Take Downs and Mauigoa/Ioane in the first then you can take the DT in rd 2 at 37 and get either CB or WR at 40. You get the top player and a bunch of needs at solid value.

@KSIXI I think trading 5 to KC for 9 and 40 would be ideal. You get downs and mauigoa/vega then you take a DT and WR in rd 2. Could take a corner as well.

Kind of sounds like things are coming into clarity for the Giants and it all verges on one man: RB Jeremiyah Love. If he's not there for the Giants @ 5, they'll take Caleb Downs and then nab Jordyn Tyson or Carnell Tate at 10. If he's there, they take him @ 5 and pray Downs will be there at 10 (he won't), which may trigger a trade down attempt.
