DMV gang – PLEASE SHARE. Tomorrow, THURSDAY, looks like a legitimate cool-season isolated tornado day. Won't be especially warm, but there's ample twist to get a few rotating storms. We more typically see this fringe-season setup in the Corn Belt. Kind of cool to see here.

@NWS_BaltWash stressing elevated threat of flooding today. It says “many” ingredients in place including moisture levels that are “off the charts.” It expects storms “capable of producing very high instantaneous rainfall rates” + environment “very favorable for flash flooding.”

@DaveScarangella It was close at the end. We lost 2 of ours last year after 14 years. A month apart. It was depressing start to fall. It has taken almost a year to get ready for another one. The other two will never be replaceable
