I can promise you all one thing. There is not a single dev at Bungie that wants all the hard work and dedication from their peers and coworkers to fail. I promise you everyone at that company wants to see Marathon thrive and they want to see their co-workers hard work and dedication be recieved positivly. That is just how Bungie do. So the whole wanting Marathon to fail or boycotting it so Bungie will be forced to make D3 or whatever people have twisted up in their head is nooooooot gonna go how you want it to. What you're doing is anti-bungie and anti-player. And to my fellow guardians out there, I get it doods. Destiny has always been home for me. Calling for a truce between Destiny 🤝🏼 Marathon At this rate, we’re building towards a mutual shared destruction where nobody wins. As someone that LOVES Marathon and Destiny, I’m not asking D2 players to even try the game…but dunking on each other gets us nowhere. Peoples thoughts are heavily influenced by others online, so when they see something negative it influences them to not even give the game a chance, when they otherwise might. On the flip side, nobody from Marathon should be cheering for Destiny “sunsetting.” Unhinged behavior, truly. If we want either game to flourish, we need to change the current trajectory. Our best chance at Destiny 3 will be determined by Marathon’s success, and better sentiment (which I totally understand Bungie needs to help with in this effort as well.) At the end of the day, we’re all gamers that want to have fun playing our favorite games with our friends. This approach helps ensure we get the chance to do that for many years to come.
