From restaurants handling the lunch rush to cloud systems balancing millions of requests, load management is crucial. @ask_mikey's latest Builders' Library article shows how the principles never change: detect early, adapt quickly, degrade gracefully. aws.amazon.com/builders-libra…

@adamse … ok to ask differently. If you were an AWS Hero and User Group leader who worked closely with the serverless team to develop a lot of content before. Where do I now go? Please don’t say my TAM or Hero group lead 🙂

Actually, it’s moving to our new Developer Experience team! Serverless is still a big focus, and we have some new ideas to explore as well. And we are hiring DAs. In this new world where developers can build things in entirely new ways, serverless is front and center!
Chris Munns@chrismunns

sadly, the #serverless DA team at AWS is essentially disbanded. a few years ago I was given an opportunity to build a new role and a new team, in what became one of hottest trends in tech. I was fortunate enough to hire incredibly smart and driven people who delivered tons 1/

It's an incredibly exciting day! Amazon Q is now generally available, and I can't wait to see how it impacts the way we work. Not long ago, we started thinking about how generative AI could transform how we build applications. aws.amazon.com/blogs/machine-…

@danilop So, this may be a tedious link which is why I ask but there is a "+" that says minimum 10 users that spans both user types on the pricing table

If partyrock is just meant to be for playing around with models then I actually think they nailed it. If this is supposed to be for prod or supposed to be AWS's response to GPTs... then it misses the mark. Either way glad to see this!
Adam Selipsky@aselipsky

If you’ve been wanting to experiment with #generativeAI, check out PartyRock powered by Amazon Bedrock. partyrock.aws With PartyRock, anyone can learn about prompt engineering/writing and build apps in just a few clicks. I built one to find the best bike trails in the Seattle area based on time of year, and best time to go to avoid crowds. You can build an app to create the perfect playlist based on your musical tastes, or one to recommend what to cook based on ingredients in your pantry. The list goes on. PartyRock is an easy and fun way to learn the fundamentals of foundation models and then collaborate with other developers. Anyone can access PartyRock through the website, and you don’t need an @awscloud account. Share your PartyRock apps in the comments below!

The space is changing so darn fast... early last week (when I did this diagram) Amazon CodeWhisperer was in Preview, now it's in General Availability, and they shared more details. Very cool how you can opt out of licensed open source code generated. Updated again:
