Three weeks to go in the NHL's regular season, which wraps up Thursday, April 16. The NHL is still working on next season's schedule but my understanding currently is that the regular season will drop the puck on Sept. 29 and wrap up April 10. Subject to change, but that's the current plan. And as per new CBA, going to 84 games per team.

McAvoy said he texted Hagens last night and told him he hopes to see him soon: "I remember the guys reaching out to me. I remember talking to Torey Krug, who is one of the guys when I signed in Providence, and talking to him, and he had spent some time there. So I remember how much it meant to me. And I saw last night late that he signed, and I just wanted to flip him a message to wish him all the best. And I told him hopefully we'll see him soon."

Hearing Raycroft in the booth reminded me Brick is likely retiring this year. Hearing them side by side does not make me optimistic for the future of NESN broadcasts.

The league blacklisted him and sent him to Philly's farm team in England. I think he would be fun like Jack Edward's was. Time to repay the man
