I gave Aden a small grant to incorporate with @stripe atlas he's now doing $60k MRR at 18 years old. this is what belief capital looks like...a little can go a long way looking for companies who want to support young builders with AI credits, cloud hosting, dev tools, grants. @united_builder

The majority of @atlas startup founders are over 35 years old for the first time. We’ve seen a surge in startup formation across all age groups, but the over 35 set has grown the fastest.

Hey @Stripe i have been going back and forth with support for 10+ days trying to understand if my @StripeAtlas $100k fee waiver is actually being applied to international (non usd) transactions. Getting circular answers with no clear confirmation. Can someone reach the Atlas?

@chilumbamachona Hey Peter! Thanks for the feedback. In relation to the EIN, can you reach out to us through support.stripe.com? We're limited in what we can share through socials, but our team will be able to look into this further via email. Thanks!

@atlas I love the work that you do and how you make it easy for startups to form companies in the US. It’s all love for that ❤️. I have to ask though my EIN number was meant to be sent this week, and now it’s moved to March - is it possible to explain how this could happen ?

Hi there—thank you for reaching out, and we’re glad USDC is helping with the transaction limits. Unfortunately, the Stripe Atlas fee is a one-time payment of $500, and the payment is required to be made in full at the time of application submission. If you want to know more about this you can take a look at: docs.stripe.com/atlas/signup.

I really get a kick out of this one: Nearly 25% of the multi-founder teams starting on Stripe @Atlas have from founders from _multiple_ countries. Not only are companies going global more quickly, but the founding teams, themselves, are more global.

The @Stripe Atlas team just published their year in review. Because Atlas now incorporates so many startups (23,000+ thus far in 2025), it's an interesting snapshot of broader ecosystem trends. Some of the findings that I thought were interesting: • Atlas incorporations grew 36% Y/Y. More than 20% of Delaware C Corporations are now started with Atlas. (Delaware corporations are started for lots of reasons, obviously -- large companies creating subsidiaries, etc. -- so Atlas represents some larger fraction of overall startup creation.) • Founders of Atlas companies can come from anywhere and Europe was the fastest-growing region (+48% Y/Y). My speculative hypothesis is that this is because dealing with incorporation is very annoying and bureaucratic in many European countries, and the knowledge that you can just use a US corporation is becoming more widespread. A lot of European leaders are aware of these issues and I'm hopeful that they'll act. • Multinational founding teams are 79% more common (among multi-founder teams) than they were in 2017. This feels like a straightforward dividend of remote work, but the effect size is surprising to me. • Time-to-revenue is accelerating. Remarkably, the median Atlas startup that incorporated in 2025 generated 39% more revenue in its first 6 months than its 2024 counterpart. And while there were more incorporations than ever this year, it is also true that a growing fraction of companies reached $100k of revenue within 6 months. That is, both quantity and some kind of quality (at least in revenue terms) are increasing. I'm not exactly sure how to explain this. I think the null hypothesis is simply that AI and stablecoins have opened the aperture of possibility, a vast surge of startups is mobilizing, and customers are eagerly flocking. • The variance is increasing. While the median company generated 39% more revenue than last year, the 90th percentile company generated 52% more, and the 99th generated 67% more. Again, this is a year-over-year change -- pretty striking. This trend aligns with the anecdotes: startups like @cursor_ai and @Lovable (both of which incorporated with Atlas) are posting truly unprecedented revenue growth figures. One of my favorite aspects of Stripe is getting to see trends like these play out in real time. If you're interested in building tools that directly enable this entrepreneurship and innovation, you should get in touch.

We analyzed data from 80,000 Atlas startups. 2025 was a breakout year for founders: they launched more companies and generated revenue faster than ever. 📈 Delaware C corporations grew an average of 41% year over year for the past 6 months. Atlas now incorporates one in five. 🏎️ Speed to revenue is accelerating: 56% more startups hit $100,000 of revenue in their first 6 months than in 2024. 🌐 Startups are more global: European startups led incorporation growth, up 48% year over year. Nearly one in four Atlas founding teams span multiple countries, a 79% increase since 2017.
