Hey everyone! Well working on stuff I wanted to do a small side project. For that I want to investigate the "strongest tornadoes ever" and tornado that "should" be EF5 but aren't. If you want to drop your strongest tornadoes ever I'll take a look and post my findings on my site!

No words. Here is a peak at one of our most incredible drone flights around a #tornado to date near Tulliby Lake, AB.
The odds were completely stacked against us on this one, but thanks to some determination to make the 18 hour drive up here pulling an all-nighter, and brilliant forecasting by Nelson Tucker we were able to see this beauty.
This will likely be one of our last intercepts of the season, thank you so much to everyone for following along as we press on to properly measure tornadoes to push weather science forward!

@ATWChasing no way those are 'subvortices' lol, one is >1000 yds away from the main circulation. i wonder if theres any videos of the tornado at this stage

UPDATE: I sent a quick email to the NWS in Lincoln, IL and they stated, "they could be subvorticies." and also called them, "very interesting".

Can someone please talk about these? It seems during the Pekin, Illinois EF2 on November 19, 2013 a few subvortices or satellites happened near the main tornado. Not sure if anyone has talked about these but they are quite weird and visible on Google Earth.

Very tired of people saying dyslexia is just minor.
Im tired of this disability, genuinely; its exhausting feeling so dumb and helpless to having both your sense of direction, and linguistics scrambled.
It limits my upward growth and makes me feel like something is wrong with me

Still can't wrap my head around the tornado outbreak I saw one month ago today in IL & IN. Here's an unreleased clip showing the Streator, IL tornado (tornado #3 out of 8 for the day).

The full June 22, 2026 Ural Mountain Outbreak. Five tornadoes + two possible satellites. Strongest tornado of the five was Kushva, of which I rated EF3 140 based on a log home with all its walls collapsed but weak contextuals. Official rating is IF3.
