@bbcpm All governments of all complexions are responsible for the decline in manufacturing capability in the UK example contract for uniforms after Gulf War 1 was taken off a UK firm and given to a cheaper foreign suppler. I served 22 years in RAMC and work in NHS 14 years

@bbcpm It may be beneficial to individual companies to trade with PR China, but it isn't beneficial to the UK economy as a whole, we import unemployment and destroy our ability to manufacture for ourselves, and we export the wealth of the nation.
