📣‼️ Returning this Thursday for week 7 of our dis ability series!! Please set your reminders and join us to discuss this weeks topic. This is not a party organised space so all are welcome. Let’s really dig deep and get involved in this discussion!! It’s such an important topic!! We have to get it right for the future, regardless of party politics … Join us 7pm Thursday‼️📣

UNDERSTANDING DISABILITY: Week 7 of our Aditus Potens AF™ Series is on Thursday 18th June 7–9pm Last week we looked at the gaps between NHS and social care; and where people fall through the cracks. Thank you to everyone who joined and shared such thoughtful contributions. This week we’re focusing on: Diagnosis delays and access to treatment → Q: How long is too long to wait? We’ll clearly break down: • How waiting times for diagnosis and treatment have changed since the NHS began in 1948 to now • Current waits for diagnosis (cancer, mental health, scans/tests) and then treatment/surgery across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland • How technology is playing a part, including the new A&E iPad self-check-in and triage systems being rolled out • The role of government funding and its impact • The real harm caused by long waits; health deterioration, extra costs to the system and welfare, and the human cost to disabled people and families • How delays in social care compound the problems • What could realistically be done to improve things We’ll also touch on the Assisted Dying Bill if people want to discuss it, but the main focus will remain on diagnosis and treatment waits (we’ll go deeper into funding pressures and rationing next week and maybe cover more of the bill then too). Expect Evidence-based, Data-driven; Clarity Not Conspiracy. Format: Online X Space (link will be set up on Thursday so it can be recorded with comments enabled) Drop a comment below if you have any specific questions or areas you’d like covered (including A&E iPads or the Assisted Dying Bill). Looking forward to another strong and useful conversation. #UnderstandingDisability #AditusPotensAF™

UNDERSTANDING DISABILITY: Week 6 of our Series (now called Aditus Potens AF™) is on: TONIGHT 7–9pm This week we’re looking at the practical reality that follows on directly from last week: Gaps between NHS and social care → Where do people fall through the cracks? We’ll clearly break down: • The most common interface gaps where NHS healthcare ends and social care support is supposed to begin • How these cracks appear differently across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland • Real-world examples • Why these gaps matter so much for disabled people and families • Practical, evidence-based ways the system could close the cracks (with costs, viability and likely impact)

UNDERSTANDING DISABILITY: Week 6 of our Series (now called Aditus Potens AF™) is on: TONIGHT 7–9pm Online X Space (link will be set up tonight at 6.55pm, as this ensures the space can be recorded and has a comments section!)

📣‼️This Thursday under a bit of a rebrand our disability series continues!! Can’t believe it’s week 6 already!! We have covered a number of topics from social care, NHS standards right through to welfare and disabilities of all kinds!! Please do join us again this Thursday to continue this really important discussion. This is not politically related to any party. It is information gathering to be passed on as feedback for all parties. So please join us and hear from @JenKteach and share your experience for feedback… see you all Thursday 7pm‼️📣

UNDERSTANDING DISABILITY: Week 6 of our Series (now called Aditus Potens AF™) is on: Thursday 11th June 7–9pm Last week’s session on the difference between NHS and social care was really insightful, thank you to everyone who joined! This week we’re looking at the practical reality that follows on directly from last week: Gaps between NHS and social care → Where do people fall through the cracks? We’ll clearly break down: • The most common interface gaps where NHS healthcare ends and social care support is supposed to begin • How these cracks appear differently across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland • Real-world examples • Why these gaps matter so much for disabled people and families • Practical, evidence-based ways the system could close the cracks (with costs, viability and likely impact) Expect straight facts, clear explanations, the latest 2025/26 data, practical examples, and open discussion, clarity on where the hand-overs actually break down and what could realistically fix them. Format: Online X Space (link will be set up on Thursday so it can be recorded with comments enabled) Drop a comment below if you have any specific questions or areas you’d like covered. Looking forward to another strong and useful conversation. #UnderstandingDisability #AditusPotensAF™
