@Helen_Whately Compare this very rare care of fraud (rightly prosecuted) with the estimated £3bn cost of PIP appeals between 2013 & 2025! (Tribunal Service panel + HMCTS overheads + DWP handling + extras). As majority of appeals are successful most of £3bn was spent correcting wrong decisions!

@PeterStefanovi2 Whilst many pensioners will struggle, working age people with the most serious illnesses on contribution based ESA (£145.90 pw 26/27) get much less than basic old/new state pension (£184.90 pw/£241.30 pw 26/27), but get no help with energy bills. Always forgotten in ableist UK.

@telfordlive Of course “accessible” does not mean it is suitable for all wheelchair users, eg I wonder how many of these will be built with a wheelchair adapted kitchen? From my experience I will guess 0 (as always). My 15.5 yr wait might end if some wheelchair adapted properties were built!
