Yesterday, their beloved streamline moderne shelter and its railway mural was unceremoniously flattened in under an hour. There are, quite clearly, more important things going on in the world right now. Yet this modest piece of modern heritage really meant something to people.

July 2020 was the last time the A&E target was met, the figures show things are getting worse. A lot of this comes down to the neglect of social care. People can't get through A&E because too many beds are occupied by people who can't leave as they can't get a care package.
