MOT today. £39 to prove my car is roadworthy. £270 for two new tyres. Old ones have plenty of tread but have developed cracks through being constantly battered by potholes. Road Tax due 1st April £195. Diesel now £1.53. Roads not fit for purpose. Where is OUR money going??

@RRPegasus @WindsorDebs Yeah I just had 2 rears replaced beginning to crack because I only do about 2000 miles a year and run them slightly lower pressure.

@heidfeldmafia How anyone can be happy with the power unit regs is beyond me. They’re absolutely awful. Coasting into corners to achieve faster lap times is just heartbreaking

Honestly, right now I have no motivation to analyse this GP. Maybe it's because when you read so many pessimistic comments you start to lose hope. I won’t deny it — at the moment I’m seeing everything in a negative light. We simply lack the means and the data needed to carry out a proper analysis. I honestly thought the race was very poor. The vast majority of drivers reported mechanical issues, which makes the ability to interpret the driver factor extremely limited. On top of that, the time required to analyse each driver and every lap is enormous, yet the conclusions you end up drawing are barely representative of what actually happened. I don’t know… I just feel disappointed with what I’ve seen today. Maybe the best thing right now is to take a few days to step back and reflect on a lot of things. Is it really worth putting so much time and effort into a sport that I’m not enjoying at the moment? 🤷♂️

not to sound 1000 years old but while the race was fine (to start with) it just isn’t F1 in its purist form anymore and that just makes me quite sad
