@harrylatha8076 @LeroyAnthonyCox @CianHooperWales Because it’s disrespectful to ask an irrelevant question when there are so many relevant points to ask about. You don’t ask about inflation, Iranian war, Mandleson, England test preparations, France six nations victory so why ask about Salah - there is literally no connection

@LeroyAnthonyCox @CianHooperWales You’ll notice I didn’t argue against the question being useless, I asked why he feels the need to be confrontational with the press over such a nothing question. And why all managers seem to be either scared or angry with the press.

@OutsideCricket You’re confused, it’s just like the Ashes tour. There’s no need to watch County games just like there was no need to prepare on Aussie pitches. The winning strategy is to wing it and rely on “everything will be all right on the night” approach. Hard work is for the birds! 🤦‍♂️🤣

Luke Wright resigned as England men's selector in January, and no replacement is likely until May. Brendon McCullum is having a three month vacation in New Zealand. Who is going to be watching the County Championship to decide who will replace the underperforming Test players?
Test Match Special@bbctms

Luke Wright will step down as national selector in the latest change to the England backroom following the dismal Ashes campaign, with his departure set for the end of the T20 World Cup, after just over three years in the role.

Context: These were conversations Bram heard from late last season-early this offseason. Team is still high on McCaffrey & not down on him as some fans may be.

#Commanders “still think there’s a long way to go of development” for WR Luke McCaffrey, per @RealBramW on the latest Ampire Media podcast. The belief is that he is the slot WR at this point

@M0lly_Writes The Guardian is hugely biased in its news coverage, which is fine as it caters to its readership base, but a bit of a stretch to say it is respected, especially with Liew on its books

To clear up some things I’ve seen on here regarding Max Verstappen and the Guardian journalist he banned from his session today: the Guardian + Giles Richards are both respected outlets/journalists. Not tabloid or clickbait media You can disagree with the question asked in AD…

We are engaging with countries in the Middle East and the Gulf, which now show a strong interest in Ukraine’s experience in defending against drones. We already see that not only “shaheds” are being used in the region, but there is also growing evidence of the use of FPV drones. This is modern warfare, and everyone must be prepared for it. Ukraine has this expertise, and in exchange for our support we need help in areas where we face greater challenges. This includes protection against ballistic threats and financial resources for defense. Ukraine offers a mutually beneficial partnership: we can strengthen those who can strengthen us. The situation in the world now is such that only coordinated and joint actions can guarantee real results and genuine security. We are being blocked in Europe, and as long as this risk remains, we must seek out additional opportunities to strengthen ourselves. The Middle East and the Gulf are the right direction and serious opportunities to make Ukraine stronger.

BBQ RULES: We are about to enter the BBQ season. Therefore it is important to refresh your memory on the etiquette of this sublime outdoor cooking activity . When a man volunteers to do the BBQ the following chain of events are put into motion: (1) The woman buys the food. Ensuring she is educated in the correct cuts of steak to purchase. (2) The woman makes the salad, prepares the vegetables, and makes dessert. (3) The woman prepares the meat for cooking, places it on a tray along with the necessary cooking utensils and sauces, and takes it to the man who is lounging beside the grill - beer in hand. (4) The woman remains outside the compulsory three meter exclusion zone where the exuberance of testosterone and other manly bonding activities can take place without the interference of the woman. Here comes the important part: (5) THE MAN PLACES THE MEAT ON THE GRILL. (6) The woman goes inside to organise the plates and cutlery. (7) The woman comes out to tell the man that the meat is looking great. He thanks her and asks if she will bring another beer while he flips the meat Important again: (8) THE MAN TAKES THE MEAT OFF THE GRILL AND HANDS IT TO THE WOMAN. (9) The woman prepares the plates, salad, bread, utensils, napkins, sauces, and brings them to the table. (10) After eating, the woman clears the table and does the dishes And most important of all: (11) Everyone PRAISES the MAN and THANKS HIM for his cooking efforts. (12) The man asks the woman how she enjoyed ' her night off ', and, upon seeing her annoyed reaction, concludes that there's just no pleasing some women. 🤣🤣

@RenewableUKCEO @LoftusSteve Backtracking horribly here. So there is no “global LNG” price, especially not till at least 2050 if we were to do the sensible thing and access the North Sea Basin. So tired of this idiocy around renewables 😡

@LoftusSteve Hello! I don't disagree, but the North Sea is a mature basin and the industry estimates it can meet at most half of net zero gas demand in 2050, so doesn't solve the LNG dependence issue: oeuk.org.uk/oeuk-business-…

@Regista10_ TBF, it’s what most of us have been saying….we don’t know how to control a game. We’re best at pressing and then counterattacking, relying on intensity rather than control. We need to change the system now and again, and get the right players in that can keep possession

If you have 5 mins, give this breakdown of one of the main issues with our team from Danny Murphy a watch. The evidence has piled up & is now undisputable... Eddie Howe can not manage a team unless it only has one game per week. That is not elite. End of discussion. #nufc

It really baffles me how people can disagree with this. Progress has never and will never be a straight upward trajectory. He has gave us the best day of our lives and countless unbelievable memories. One bad season and we bin him? What does that say about us?
Pete Graves@PeteGravesTV

Promised myself I'd keep my head down, but I can't. If some of you can't see that 2 champions league campaigns and an actual trophy, the best day of our lives, doesn't buy you the time to put it right? Then I'm at a loss. I really am. 🖤🤍

We've a lot to get on with to get the good times back at Newcastle United and I've personally been critical of the leadership at Newcastle United for a while now. Here is my summer fix it list for Ross and David to get on with! 👨‍💼 Ross Wilson: The Footballing Fix-It List Wilson’s reputation for high-volume recruitment is well known, but at Newcastle, he needs quality and quantity. The squad is currently a jigsaw puzzle with several missing pieces. 1. The "Isak Replacement" Saga: Following the fallout and departure of Alexander Isak, we have lacked a world-class focal point. Wilson must secure a marquee striker who fits the Eddie Howe high-intensity system. 2. Ruthless Squad Trimming: The squad is unbalanced and bloated with players who either can't stay fit or don't fit the level. Decisions on ageing stalwarts and the future of players like Joe Willock and Nick Pope (entering final contract years) must be made now. 3. Defensive Surgery: With Dan Burn and Fabian Schär both 33+, the backline needs an infusion of elite, young talent. We can't rely on "patchwork" solutions in a Champions League-standard league. 4. Gut the Medical Department: The relentless cycle of "repeat injuries" suggests a systemic failure in recovery protocols. Wilson needs to overhaul the sports science and medical staff to stop the training ground from becoming a permanent infirmary. 👨‍💼 David Hopkinson: The Commercial & Infrastructure Blueprint David has talked about the "Rocket Ship," but a ship needs fuel. That fuel is revenue! 1. Land a "Blue-Chip" Training Ground/Shirt Partner: It’s been another 6 months of silence. We need a major naming rights or lead sponsor for the old and new training facility to inject the commercial revenue needed to navigate the new Squad Cost Ratio (SCR) rules replacing PSR. A training gear sponsor too. 2. The Stadium Decision: Stop the scenarios and " modelling. By the end of this summer, fans need a definitive "Yes" or "No" surely on the redevelopment of St James’ Park versus a new 68,000-seater stadium. The uncertainty is stalling long-term commercial growth. 3. Global Sponsorship Expansion: Aside from the Sela and Adidas deals, the "global partners" have been thin on the ground. Hopkinson’s Real Madrid experience must yield actual, high-value global contracts for the training gear and sleeve sponsors and so on. 4. Digital Ecosystem Overhaul: As Hopkinson admitted, the club’s digital presence is currently "not world-class." To engage a global fanbase and drive retail, the club needs a 21st-century digital platform that isn't lagging behind its rivals. 👨‍💼🏟️🧑‍💼 The Shared Objective: Direct Communication Finally, both men along with the owners must facilitate a bridge back to the fans. The "wall of silence" from the ownership since Amanda Staveley left is feeding a sense of frustration. The Job: Arrange a transparent "State of the Union" address from the PIF or the executive board, like Yasir Al Rumayyan did back last in 2023. Without accountability, the ambitious "2030 Vision" will remain exactly that—a vision and fancy talk, rather than a reality! What else needs to happen this summer? 🤔 #NUFC #NUFCNews #Newcastle #EPL
