The City of Lubbock will resume warming center operations at two library locations – Groves Branch Library & Mahon Branch Library. Warming centers provide water, free Wi-Fi and charging stations for anyone needing to safely get out of the cold. The available locations/days/times are listed below: ⭐Mahon Library - 1306 9th Street • Saturday, January 24: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. • Sunday, January 25: 1:00 p.m - 5:00 p.m. ⭐Groves Library - 5520 19th Street • Saturday, January 24: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. • Sunday: Closed *Warming center operations may vary due to power outages or weather conditions. The City of Lubbock Office of Emergency Management will continue to monitor weather forecasts and conditions.
