Our latest Word on the Street video is live! 🚗🌳 We’re talking about the Monroe Avenue Restriping Project and what it means for the heart of our city. Based on your feedback, and a City Council approval, Monroe Avenue (from 1st to 9th Street) is getting a fresh new look designed to make downtown safer, more accessible and more vibrant. We are moving to a three-lane configuration, which includes: One lane in each direction A continuous center left-turn lane Enhanced landscaping Parallel parking on both sides of the street The new layout will reduce traffic delays, make it easier to visit your favorite local shops and create a safer environment for everyone, whether you’re behind the wheel or walking the shops. 📺 Watch the video below to see all the details.
