Here's what happens in AZ when everyone else switches to #DaylightTime 😂 🏖️Pacific time jumps into AZ time, so now AZ and CA have the SAME time 🗻Mountain time jumps ahead of AZ time, so now Denver is an hour AHEAD of Phoenix 📺AZ is now 3 hours BEHIND Eastern time so some shows are an hour EARLIER in AZ! 🤯 #azwx #DaylightSavingTime #NOTsavings

Some locations in the west/southwest just had their hottest winter on record (Dec-Jan-Feb). Still more to evaluate but some stations like Phoenix, Las Vegas, Palm Springs, and Salt Lake City ranked with their hottest winter on record (prelim). #azwx

So this happened yesterday 🥵The national high temp Weds Feb 25, 2026 was 98°F at Martinez Lake, AZ (near Yuma). Yuma hit 93°F yesterday... the hottest Feb temp record for Yuma was 97°F on Feb 28, 1986. #azwx
