Na your papa or relatives be one of the corrupt leaders we have in this country. You can’t get all this base on merit unless you have someone who’s pushing your name regardless of any outcome of your applications and interview. All this scholarships you brag to have obtain aren’t giving base on transparency

@aondosoo_i @BashirAhmaad When did that one started? The last time I checked, Nigeria is largely divided into North and South, and Abuja is situated in the North.

When it comes to media coverage, the North is always left at the mercy of narratives shaped from outside. The shameful display witnessed during iShowSpeed’s visit would never have been tolerated anywhere in the North, not in Abuja, not in Kano and not even in Damboa, Borno or in Jos, Plateau. Yet, as usual, it has been quietly wiped off the big screen, brushed aside and everyone has simply moved on to other business. This selective attention and convenient amnesia remain part of our deeper problem.
Malancy@NaseerAjumawa

So let me get this straight iShowSpeed visited Lagos, was overwhelmed, and eventually chased out by deep-rooted cultural street beggars in Lagos on an international stage seen by over 50m viewers , and Kano is what Channels TV uses as the scapegoat to cover this global shame.

The hadith I shared earlier describes Muhammad narrating a real event where a prophet was beaten by his own people, and that prophet spoke the same words Jesus said on the cross “Father, forgive them, for they do not know.” If you read the comments, you’ll notice how many Muslims denied that this prophet was Jesus. They listed every other prophet they could think of while deliberately avoiding Jesus, knowing that acknowledging it would raise difficult questions for them. Now, here is another hadith that explicitly mentions Jesus, so how do you address this one?

Narrated by Abdullah ibn Mas‘ud: “I see the Prophet ﷺ describing one of the earlier prophets whose people had beaten him until he was bleeding. He was wiping the blood from his face and praying, ‘O Lord, forgive my people for they do not know.’” Sahih al-Bukhari 6929 In this Hadith, Muhammad is seen describing a prophet who was beaten by his people and was wiping blood from his head a detail that reminds us of Jesus, who wore a crown of thorns that caused Him to bleed from His head. This prophet prayed: “O Lord, forgive my people for they do not know.” There is only one person in the history of the world who was tortured, beaten, crucified, and still prayed for the forgiveness of His persecutors. Luke 23:34 – “Jesus said, ‘Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.’” Isaiah 53:5 – “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” Matthew 27:26–31 Jesus is beaten and mocked before His crucifixion. So, my Muslim friends, if Muhammad was describing a prophet who was beaten and prayed for his people’s forgiveness, who could he have been referring to?

Honestly, and with the fear of God, answer this question: Why is Peter Obi right for saying that Nnamdi Kanu should never have been arrested and instead that the Federal Government should negotiate with IPOB for peace to reign, but Sheikh Gumi is wrong for saying precisely the same thing about the FG and aggrieved Fulani herders? Exactly how is Peter Obi different from Sheikh Gumi? If you cannot respond rationally without insults, then your response itself already answers the question. Reno Omokri Gospeller. Nigeria Will Not Break Up, Says First Lady Oluremi Tinubu at Abuja Thanksgiving Service First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has reaffirmed that Nigeria will remain united despite its current challenges, declaring that the country “will not disintegrate.” She made the remarks on Sunday during a Thanksgiving service held to honour the investiture of Most Rev. Sunday Onuoha as Archbishop on Special Duties at the Methodist Unity Cathedral in Abuja. Tinubu was represented at the event by the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Bishop Stephen Adegbite. According to her, Nigeria’s stability rests in God’s hands, and she urged citizens to intensify prayers for the nation, the Church, and its leaders. “Nigeria will not disintegrate. Nigeria will remain one indivisible entity. God will be with Nigeria. We shall celebrate Christmas in peace and joy, and it shall be well with the nation. I congratulate the Archbishop on his new assignment,” she said. Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, also addressed the gathering, stressing the need for stronger international partnerships to tackle Nigeria’s deepening security crisis. He maintained that such cooperation would not undermine the nation’s sovereignty. He noted that the President is committed to global collaborations that benefit the country and highlighted the importance of engaging all stakeholders in resolving national issues. Kalu emphasized the Church’s role in fostering peace, unity, and development, adding that faith institutions must continue to offer messages of hope and healing. He commended Archbishop Onuoha for his dedication to peacebuilding and for strengthening ties between the Church and the state.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has said insecurity in Northern Nigeria remains his deepest concern, stressing that the crisis threatens national progress and stability. The President said that his administration is determined to end terrorism and banditry in northern Nigeria. Tinubu said no part of the country would be allowed “to bleed while the federal government watches”. What more can the government do to prevent current insecurity challenges ravaging the nation?
