When I see a tax advocate, I see Gambo Mijin Kulu; only he had the moral clarity not to dress up Nazaki's heists as public good.

@Abdulrah_maan In my experience, it’s more of a Kebbi-esque Fulani cultural expression. Not quite as common in Sokoto. The families i know that do that in Sokoto are all frome Kebbi

@Rahmaxrey @MajidAbdul23 Apologies for gatecrashing. I just found this quite interesting. I’m from Kaoje, and the first thought that came to mind after seeing the OP was Kaoje. Also, it’s more common in Kebbi generally than in Sokoto.

@MajidAbdul23 I think their culture and family dynamic matters. Some people from Kaoje still do that today.

There’s no pdf and rarely even the hard copies available anywhere.😝 It was massacre in a lot of places along the north, example after the Burmi issue, there was the Satiru Revolt, British retaliation reportedly led to the destruction of the town and mass killing of its inhabitants..

PDF please?! Killings are different from massacres from ethnic cleansing from genocide from holocausts. They carry deep legal meanings and have to attain certain thresholds in terms of intents and extent! They were killings but massacres I doubt
Muhammad.@baphacongo

@sharubutudvm Please read this masterpiece. But even Max Siollun made the reference of killings that happened before they consequred the north, closely im sure you read about the mutiny of caliph Attahiru.

The reason so many invest in real estate & price out young people is that inflation makes the dollar & savings accounts useless so everyone needs to use their home as a saving account instead. Monetary policy is the problem, but like all lefties in human history you are programmed by your banker owners to never even notice this, let alone speak about it, and instead go after actually productive people to ensure they remain ground under the heels of your owners.

my great, great, great grandfather Muhammadu Moyijo (first flag bearer of Sh. Usman Dan Fodiyo) had a brother, Mal. Usman, who moved to Jama’a, Kaduna state. I just had the pleasure of meeting some of them when they visited us today. talk about family resemblance

@Abdulrah_maan There are times when social media can serve as a vehicle for justice, but when personal lives are involved, it is more often than not just “gist” for many, consumed more for entertainment than genuine concern.

It is always interesting seeing people form strong opinions from decontextualized, slanted, one-sided narratives on X. You don’t know what you don’t know, and people differ in how convincingly they advance narratives; the truth can sound dull while a lie can sound compelling.
