In Arewa, we masked Almajiranci for too long instead of asking hard questions. A child is not supposed to suffer on the streets while adults call it tradition. Parents also have duties and accountability over their children.

Wallahil Azeem just few hours ago, I escorted my mom to a big pharmacy to get some medicine. While we were there, one very small almajiri boy entered the shop. Very tiny boy… maybe around 12–15 years old. You could see immediately that he was seriously sick. He came inside slowly begging for medicine and said, “Zan mutu a taimaka min da magani.” That sentence alone scattered my heart. The pharmacist calmly told him to come inside properly. The small boy immediately removed his shoes before entering. The pharmacist then told him to wear them back, but the boy refused. He said he didn’t want to dirty the shop. The pharmacist started asking him questions and found out the boy had been sick for almost a whole week. Severe headache, catarrh, body weakness… obviously malaria too. Then the pharmacist asked him his age so he could know the correct dosage to give him.

The message is for us all to call out our leaders, to do the right things they are elected to do, not criticize rich people on how they spend their own moneys, or for a “go fund me” need for people to do it too. He is simply showing us how possible it is, and how evil the leaders are as providing these basic needs is not that critical. CALL OUT THE LEADERS ELECTED!

The entire registered membership of APC in Adamawa is just over 450,000, yet the propaganda gang is claiming one candidate got 555k votes, and that the state has nearly 1 million registered APC members, trying to suggest they were cheated 😂 This is a state that struggles to records 1 million total votes on a real election day 😂 A state with a population of about 4.9 million, that is children, elderly people, and sick people, and even the ones that travelled included, but somehow 20% are registered APC members. Oh sorry not the whole members, according to them, 20% of the entire population of the state participated in the direct primary process, and that figure is supposedly still not all the registered members of the party 😂 Kuna tsoron Allah Kuwa?
