I understand the goalkeeper coaching academy, but I am not sure about the Strikers academy. For goalkeepers, most of their training and drills are generally on ball handling, shot stopping and diving. If you are involved in finishing drills, it is easy to finish 7/10 opportunities when you have no opponent to beat or tackle to anticipate. In my view, the problem starts when you have to train with defenders and have pressure to score. I am interested to know at what stage of development a striking coach is required....I am open to being educated on this aspect of the game. Where has this model been seen to improve strikers?
