Update: If you compiled your 10.5.2 Cardano Node on *your own* machine from Source earlier, it's possible it WON'T actually fix the problem. SO! The guidance now is to upgrade to libblst 0.3.14 and THEN compile 10.5.3 Cardano Node to ACTUALLY fix the issue. Guidance is available to read here - github.com/IntersectMBO/c…

Sorry (I know the word isn't enough given the impact of my actions) Cardano folks, it was me who endangered the network with my careless action yesterday evening. It started off as a "let's see if I can reproduce the bad transaction" personal challenge and then I was dumb enough

9 years ago I left the world rapid and blitz in Doha with two near misses and some viral rage moments. This year I hope to improve on the former, but regardless I promise to deliver on the latter. Also, I’ll be grinding the gym to fit into tighter jeans than last time.

There were no warnings! But levity aside, it's an ecosystem wide teachable moment and conversation about scaling up Cardano's DeFi layer in 2026. The tech is there, we have to bring the capital and integrations.

It seems that the address that lost 6M$ in the ADA/USDA swap was filled by the origin Cardano transaction, so he's either one of the entities or a voucher holder from the ICO days. He was also staking with periodic rotation of his SPOs, which makes me think of a certain entity program that was made to help small SPOs. This move could be a huge mistake, but it could also be a move to reduce tax pressure. It could also be an attempt to discredit USDA causing several loan liquidations.
