What's been shown so far of the MakeGame building is the "public area" space. There's more to the building that still needs renovation, however I'm pondering over doing a crowdfunding or something to hire contractors for the rest - I'm exhausted after 5 years of construction 😅

@KenneyNL How are you planning to secure not to be broken in and the tech to be stolen ? It gives me shivers to only think about anything getting lost in that beautiful project.

For the last 5 years I've been working on this nearly daily for hours on end. When I started I couldn't hang a painting but thanks to many YouTube DIY videos was able to build this. A crazy journey with ups and (many) downs which I feel is just starting.

The one thing I love most at Kenney, even though all of his fame as asset Jesus, he still gets on his knees for his passion. Respect

Last couple of days I've been doing all of these mundane tasks at MakeGame like cleaning the toilets, stocking the fridge, making little 'welcome' gift packages for new interns, vacuuming... and I really love this. It's a great getaway from the usual computer work. 💛

@KenneyNL Have you tried reaching out to humble ? They are already funding some games/developers and also have a big program for black game devs.

I've sent countless of emails seeking sponsorship/funding for my #gamedev location and the most common answer would be that they only sponsor eSports. I sorta get it, but maybe put some of your money towards the people making the games instead of just those playing them? 🤷‍♂️
