@Silas6of11 @ChessifyMe Knight moves to c3 to block bishop
English

@Maceelxx @ChessifyMe 1. Ra3 can be responded with black pawn to c3
after that it will not even be a checkmate in 2 moves solution

@jjhanna2 @WihlBetancourt @the_jefferymead Going to work and having a purpose breeds productivity and creativity. Societal advances will slow to a crawl or stop altogether if no one needs to work. Anxiety and depression rates could also go parabolic. No thank you.
English

@WihlBetancourt @the_jefferymead You’re missing the part where goods and services approach near zero cost. People will be able to survive on minimal income. UBI will be enough.

Tesla employs around 125,000 full time workers worldwide.
Amazon employs around 1.5 million full time and part time workers.
Microsoft employs approximately 213,000 full time workers worldwide.
Intel employs approximately 84,000 full time workers worldwide.
Isn’t it funny how he is complaining about people losing jobs, but isn’t crediting the billionaires with the millions of jobs their businesses create?
People like this are pathetic.

Musk sacked 80% of staff when he bought twitter Bezos is sacking 14,000 people to replace with AI Microsoft are cutting 4.1% of jobs (9,100) to replace with AI Intel are cutting up to 25% of staff to replace with AI What's that about billionaires creating jobs?
English

@72lbk @currentiyke Yeah. Definitely jumped the gun and put my foot in my mouth on that one.
English

@AaronEngland87 @currentiyke From her POV you think she should say there is a (1 live out)/ (52cards-8known)= 2.2727%.. But she says 3.125% which implies 1/32 acting as if she knows 20 cards, not just the 8 showing. those 12 likely being the fold cards of the other players (that should be unknown to her)
English

@72lbk @currentiyke Yes. That’s how statistics work. If the card isn’t one of the 8 cards showing it is still on the deck for the math.
English

@currentiyke It is only 3.125% if that lady knows for a fact that 6 of the other players delt in during the hand did not fold the 7 of hearts.

@LegoRacers2 As a middle to older millennial, I find myself relating more and more to boomers everyday!
English

@SmilingP0litely @VladTheInflator 15 yr mortgages have lower interest rates than 30 yr mortgages.
English

@VladTheInflator This was always gonna happen.
Boomers abused the shit out of home equity. High int on a 15yr loan vs low int on a 30.
Banks were more than willing to upgrade the value of your house to lend you more money.
I wonder how much money Boomers have lost on interest?

@stirfrybl @CornilisRye @lindynap Your car note and mortgage are over 60% of your monthly income. That’s not a fucked economy, that’s fucked life choices. Make some grown up decisions and you could go on 3 vacations a year and still have money left over.
English

We have 3 kids and are struggling on that with only 1 car payment, we bring home about 7k after taxes, health insurance, 401k etc. $1500/month car, Mortgage 3k/month (tax insurance included), Food 1k a month. We now have $1500 a month to pay for everything else gas, house maintenance, movie nights, travel baseball, gymnastics lessons, no way we can afford private school. Barely afford 1 vacation a year. This economy is fucked.
English

@Porkchop_EXP Your odds of dying in a car crash, are 1 in 93. Do you still get in cars?
English

LASIK basically shows how people can’t evaluate risk.
If you’re smart enough you shouldn’t care it goes well for 9999 people, you don’t want to be that 1 at any cost.

@hollowearthterf LASIK is the ultimate IQ test

@KiwiCryptoNan @Eric_Blair_2000 @vicblends Just remove the other person from the sentence. You wouldn’t say, “can someone photoshop the guy behind I?”
English

@Eric_Blair_2000 @vicblends Not according to Grok.
The correction in the X post addresses a common grammatical error regarding the use of pronouns in compound subjects, where "my girl and I" is correct instead of "my girl and me". This reflects an educational aspect on English grammar rules.
