I’m just being honest here: this has vibes of Hitler in the bunker at the end of the WW2, totally disconnected from reality on the battlefield. Scary version: Trump believes what he’s saying here. It doesn’t take much analysis of the actual battlefield, sifting through the words used by all the sides, to see that the Strait remains closed, and fully in Iranian control. We are not winning this war, Iran is being heavily bombed, but not being decimated. They retain a viable missile force, their government remains in control, they still have effective control of the Persian Gulf, and their proxies are still viable. Meanwhile, we are running dangerously low of standoff weapons and interceptor missiles, possibly mere weeks left at current rates of expenditure. We literally don’t have the bombs to destroy the country, but we are leaving ourselves incredibly vulnerable in the vane attempt. God help us all if President Trump gives the order to deepen our strategic disaster by introducing ground forces into the war.

@nickimoraa I am eternally grateful I learned how to cook in the 90s/00s. If I completely screwed the pooch on trying something new, it was <$10 in ingredients and getting an emergency pizza was still affordable. It's much harder for people today.

Once you actually learn how to cook… you start to realize a lot of these restaurants are heavily over rated.

@BrainFlavours @starshipTARDIS I haven't done enough research to definitively say which are 100% cotton vs cotton plus synthetic materials. I use Knix, which is a mix, but still better than the shit they use for pads these days.

This is fucking insane. Michigan just handed 50 million to companies that already control huge chunks of dairy processing. Fairlife is Coca-Cola. Chobani moves product nationwide. This isn’t helping dairy. It’s reinforcing who already owns the pipeline. Farmers have been getting squeezed for years. Plants close. Capacity shrinks. Fewer buyers. Then the state steps in and funds the top of the chain. Not the producers. Not the locals. The bottleneck wtf.
