Lots of talk post match in the pubs about 'getting the band back together' etc, but I think we are overlooking one guy 🤔..

@ScotlandSky Martin O Neil strikes me as a thoroughly decent bloke, one of few managers who speaks relatively honestly regardless of whether it's his team that have benefitted or not

🗣️ “If Hearts players have been accosted by some of our fans, that’s pretty serious.” 🗣️ “I was asking the fourth official, or one of the linesmen, in the tunnel, and he said it’s over.” Martin O’Neill on the post-match scenes after Celtic's title win over Hearts ⤵️

Come on! How much did the spying genuinely benefit them? Yeah it shouldn’t have happened, is against the rules, cheating whatever … plenty of cheating goes on, on the pitch too but you don’t just give the game to the opponent. Southampton are through to the final, Boro aren’t. Simple as, get over it, end of!

@EFL_Comms The EFL can't kick them out - if they do so and Southampton take it to CAS to appeal (which would be at least several months if not years away) & we're successful then they would sue EFL for damages and EFL would be left with a huge bill - the already kow it's going to be a fine

This is why the Championship is unparalleled. Ayling doesn't play the ball. A blatant penalty, ref not interested. No VAR. Just good, old fashioned, honest incompetence. As the game should be. Marvelous stuff.

@AwayDaysFB Also I know its a big decision but how many times do you need to watch someone getting kicked in the head before going "yeh that is a penalty"

PGMOL and referees once again tonight showing that they have complete control over the outcome of a football game. Tonight for the first time in MONTHS we seen the ref implement the 7 second rule against the Leeds United keeper, awarding Spurs a corner during a kick out... On top of this, then VAR decided NOT to implement the 5cm tolerance rule against Calvert Lewins offside, instead deciding that this picture is 'offside'. Incredible how inconsistent the refereeing can be in 1 game just minutes apart, also extremely coincidental how both decisions favour Spurs who are in desperate need of points to keep them in the championship. Honestly if Spurs do end up in the relegation zone, the Premier League will probably just chuck West Ham a points deduction to send them down instead 👍🏻

@ammandev My hesitation with this is that it's (even more than now) open to abuse by the operators who are choosing which angles the officials are getting shown - we've seen numerous times this season sky being able to a different angle after an event which changes the view of an incident

VAR needs a timer. 60 seconds. If you can’t spot it, it’s not ‘clear and obvious’ Agreed? 🤷🏽‍♂️

@_G1NX_ Before the West Ham game he said "it will be interesting to see how we turn up" he had 3 1/2 weeks to get a team of highly paid elite athletes prepared & firing on all cylinders for a huge match against another crap team - we lost 4-0

I'm actually genuinely baffled by people turning on Rob for a season which has always been a "write off" and people knowing our team is absolutely appalling and to expect him to get us wins when there's nothing to play for and morale is an all time low is a joke, people are so fickle and simple. How about judge him with a whole pre season, more of his players in a league we expect to be winning games in, not in a division where all other squads have players at least double the ability levels of us, joke #wwfc #wolves

@irishwolf99 @Wolves I want him gone after today - no inspiration, no passion or urgency into the players - Arokodare's dismissive reaction to him when he was subbed off - regrettably I think we've got to twist again

@Wolves I'm as patient as any Wolves fan, but I'm on the verge of wanting Edwards gone. That's a fucking ridiculous sub again. Gomes won't even be here next year and doesn't care. Why did we wait until the final 10 mins and WHY would he take Hugo of all people off?

@SpursOfficial @ChampionsLeague 😭😭💔💔 Igor Tudor did him a great injustice by handing him his first start of the season in such a difficult match. It was a very painful scene... the Atletico Madrid fans cheered for the goalkeeper out of pure sympathy for him

@irishwolf99 @NathanJudah I may be mad but Tchatchou is growing on me, just not for the role he's in - offensively he's way off it but he's a pretty decent defender, his pace is a massive asset and he's great at covering & stepping in from RB, in a 4 I think he'd be ok next year

@NathanJudah No. Absolutely miles off it. 24 million of the King's finest to have the Great Khali up front. On a technical basis, one of the worst, if not the worst player, we've had since Nuno got us up. Him & Tchatchoua fighting a duel to the death on that front

The JSL deal is great business. For a striker who has only scored once in the league this year - to make a profit of circa 19 million quid is an unbelievable deal! How much will we see of the money I don’t know, but what I do know is he certainly isn’t the player he was last season when he wanted Wolves to take up the 26m option ….and he certainly isn’t the player he was since he got his head turned by Newcastle! The first of the mercenaries to set sail from HMS Wolver-elegation ….and it’s too good to turn down!
