$STRC - The cleanest way to crush index funds is to own the best risk-adjusted expression of inevitable debasement. In the Saylor thesis, fiat currencies debase at 8–10% annually while Bitcoin is the only fixed-supply asset that compounds against it. STRC is the cleanest vehicle ever built to monetize this edge: Strategy raises capital at 11.5% via perpetual preferred shares and deploys it into Bitcoin. The variable-rate mechanism pins the price near $100, crushing volatility to just 3.1% (30-day) and 12.8% (1-year). Modest 2x leverage turns this into 16–19% expected returns at ~24% volatility while preserving a Sharpe ratio above 2.5 — the highest-quality carry trade on monetary debasement in public markets. The risk is structurally contained. Strategy holds $1.8–2.5B in reserves (over 2 years of full dividend coverage), plus software cash flow and an active ATM program. Because the dividend rate can rise to defend the $100 peg before any payment is missed, and because Bitcoin appreciates during the exact debasement regimes that hurt everything else, deep drawdowns are far less likely than in broad indexes. In the capital structure, STRC sits ahead of common equity with multiple redundant backstops. Math makes the case undeniable. Passive indexes deliver ~10% returns at 15–20% volatility and Sharpe ratios of 0.4–0.6, suffering brutal geometric drag. Levered STRC targets 16–19% geometric returns with materially lower effective risk and monthly compounding. Over 15–20 years the difference is exponential — roughly 3x more terminal wealth with shallower drawdowns. This is not speculation. It is engineered monetary alpha. For those fluent in the model, leveraged STRC is the single safest asymmetric bet available: harvest double-digit yields on Bitcoin accumulation, suppress volatility mechanically, and compound at rates that make passive indexing obsolete. In a world of overvalued or over-volatile assets, this is the rare position where the math, mechanics, and macro thesis all align in your favor.

@AaronLiv_ Raising cash to fight inflation. Wow the stupidest thing you could ever do. Who wants to lose $27B a yr to inflation by holding cash.

I obviously don't disagree that the current multiples we see across the entire market are pure insanity and I wouldn't wanna spend the cash on this overvalued shit either. But their reluctance to embrace BTC is literally costing Bershire shareholders trillions in upside. You snooze, you lose. Time will tell. @diglloyd @AdamBLiv @Rajatsoni

GREG ABEL SAID COMPOUNDING INFLATION AT 8-9% IS A “TERRIFYING SCENARIO” Is this why $BRK.B has raised a monster $397.4B cash position in today’s shareholder meeting? Do they see inflation ramping up? Very interesting 🧐

From Grok: Use a crypto-backed lender like Nexo. Example from their calculator (just now): Want $100k loan At 50% LTV → Need 2.55 BTC collateral Implied BTC price: ~$78,431 You borrow $100k at 0.9% interest (~$900/year), buy ~1,000 STRC shares, and collect the 11.5% yield (~$11,500/year). Net carry: +$10,600/year while keeping your BTC upside. This is far cleaner than brokerage margin: Terms are transparent and stable (not arbitrary) Tax-efficient (no BTC sale) Positive carry from day one Other solid options: Portfolio Margin at Interactive Brokers (low vol = favorable treatment) SBLOC from a bank (non-purpose loan, fixed terms) Long calls or synthetic longs on STRC for defined-risk leverage The low realized vol of STRC (3.1% 30-day) actually makes traditional margin safer than most stocks — but the Nexo route is currently the cheapest and most reliable. Leveraged STRC is very workable today. The infrastructure already exists.

@AaronLiv_ @AdamBLiv Surely an ETF or similar vehicle (DeFi?) will figure out how to lever STRC soon, and maybe already does.

@STRC_live @saylor Actually, I believe he thinks about me all the time. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has nightmares about me.

I have jury duty tomorrow. I am pissed. All my life I played by the rules, paid my taxes, got screwed and ripped off at every turn by my government. This fucking pathetic injustice system now wants to STEAL my time and money by THREAT OF FORCE, all while its shields illegals, takes a cut of the fraud and denies us our core rights, often for having the wrong skin color. I do not recognize any "duty" to sacrifice my time and money showing up for this broken fraud of a system that would prosecute me for being White even as it lets the Chosen Ones rape and murder and steal with near impunity. "Duty" was for when we had a civilization. Now we have chaos and systemic designed-in injustice. I only go because I weigh the threats levied against me for not showing up (fines and/or imprisonment). Is there such a thing as a "hostile juror"? Hopefully this disqualifies me. @JoshuaLisec @AdamBLiv @DrInsensitive @AaronLiv_

Maybe not a popular take but I am calling for this guy to be pardoned. Unless the DOJ plans on going after all the crooks in congress currently insider trading, this is simply skewed justice. There is no “justice” when guys like this get the book thrown at him yet members are illegally profiting every day. I don’t agree with what he did and he should be required to disgorge all the profits however, unless the DOJ plans on doing Congress next, this is not justice.

DOJ releases more information about the U.S. soldier who won more than $400,000 by betting on Maduro's removal. Gannon Ken van Dyke could face up to 60 years in prison on all charges. Prosecutors are also seizing the money he won.
