@olsonplanner @Kev_In_Med My servicer told me in the letter that though my loans are in forbearance, these months do still count for pslf.

@Kev_In_Med Your loans are not accruing interest, but they’re also not currently counting toward PSLF as the months go by. We have to wait and see if you can change plans, or buy back these months through a buyback program if you end up going for public service loan forgiveness.

For those of you on the SAVE plan already (not the interns who are stuck in consolidation/IDR application limbo) and are worried about PSLF payments qualifying… DO NOTHING for now.

@EzraTeitelbaum @ebtapper As a trainee, pt ref to ED from outpt US for incidental hydroneph. Needed CT b4 Uro eval (ED or outpt). Pt could stay for CT but not read since he didn’t budget the additional time off work. Attending d/c order “don’t want to be liable if he can’t stay.” Outpt w/u delayed.

“Because of the risk of legal liability” It gets said so often in hospitals. Rarely is it justified or empirically true. But the saddest is when I hear a trainee say it about a test/procedure they *need* to do (or cannot do) because of legal risk 1/2 #MedTwitter
