It’s weird there aren’t more savory drinks. Take broth for instance. There are so many broths I would absolutely drink straight out of a mug. So how come there’s no Starbucks for broths? Am I just weird?

Went to the intermediates food fair, had some great bao and spring rolls. Came home to 2doz quail eggs. Any ideas what to do with them? Looking at you @southstarbrew

I just listened to this album while working out. I could predict the next song as soon as one was finished. It's a nearly perfect record, from a bygone era. It totally reminded me of my youth, and how the last 35 years just flew by.

@AaronPinkham @evergreenqveen Sad to say i felt like i needed a minivan because the door situation with the carseat in parking lots is horrible. I don't regret it at all it made everything miles easier. They also have rear air conditioning vents and most suvs don't. Minivan or keep what u got imo

People in my local mommy group are such mindless consumers they will post “should I buy a new car? I really can’t afford it and if I lost my job we would be screwed” AND EVERY MOM IS TELLING HER A NEW CAR IS SMART

@AaronPinkham Yeah - my BIL grew up riding around Nelson. Sounds like a good excuse to take the ferry over for Xmas this year instead of flying. Would be a shame to leave the bike here.

As part of my ongoing mid-life crisis, I have recently gotten back into mountain biking. I say got back into, it’s been 30 years 😂 Kids these days don’t know how fucking good they have it with the quality of pump tracks and trails around Wellington.

In my day pump tracks didn’t exist. It was you and your mates begging, borrowing, stealing enough timber to make a kicker, or hacking your way through a bush to try and make a trail. It’s all there for you these days. Beautiful. Just beautiful.

Finally went to the Apple Store to see the all the MacBook Neo colors. Citrus is awful, and Indigo is quite nice, but would be much better if the keyboard was a darker blue rather than a lighter blue. Blush, of course, remains the best color. The Neo table was very popular. Multiple people buying one. Asked the employee there, she said they've been selling like crazy and can't keep stock! I also overheard a customer correctly say that it has the same chip as his current iPhone and an employee incorrectly say that actually it's the same as the 17 line LOL Also the pink 17e is GORGEOUSSSSS

something i've noticed is that people who are new to something — whether it's tailored clothing or catholicism — are often very rigid and dogmatic in their thinking. much more zealous than people who have been into it for a while. not sure what causes this.
