@PaulSpacey I'm not really following. I agree with your article that the USSF C license tends to focus on the wrong things (e.g., diagramming instead of on-field interaction). But iterations on homework means that you have to spend time doing it which means earning it.

@AaronQSmith Iterations on the homework is meaningless. AI can do it. Perhaps if you did it a long time ago, the requirements for the in-person practical were more stringent.

@PaulSpacey That was never how the instructor positioned it to us. He stated that we could fail and has had students who have had to redo the course. Certainly required multiple iterations on the homework

@AaronQSmith In what way do you have to earn it? You can’t *fail* the in-person part. The rest is zoom calls and some assignments which you can resubmit until you get them *right* in accordance with what instructor wants to see,

@PaulSpacey The real "yikes," though, is the lack of support once we’re back at our clubs. No director visits to my practice, zero coaching meetings all year and more. It’s hard to "improve the game" when the clubs won’t even invest in the coaches they already have.

@PaulSpacey I agree with almost everything. I finished my USSF C license this fall and can confirm: you definitely have to earn it. It’s no "pay-to-pass" system.

@tferriss 10/10. Actually useful home robotics. Every morning my kitchen floor is freshly mopped and vacuumed. In a house with four kids and a dog this is great, and adds value beyond my housekeeper. It’s like overnight janitorial

Has anyone used Matic (robot vacuum)? If so, from 0-10 (no 7 allowed), how strongly would you recommend and why? Thanks! 🙏

I used @Replit Agent 3 to whip up a website for not boring dot com. I probably did ~10 minutes of total prompting and checking; it did ~3 hours. Particularly like this scratchpad, where I can drop notes and links and move them around the board.
