Olin Kreutz wasn’t a highlight reel. He was the highlight remover.
He made a living off one promise: you are not moving me.
UW legend → Bears enforcer → now a College Football Hall of Famer. @olin_kreutz @UW_Football @ChicagoBears

If you think O-linemen are just big… you haven’t seen these dudes.
Terry Long dang near put up a world record on a whim.
Larry Allen put up 705 on the bench.
Francis Mauigoa’s freshman numbers are higher than some dude’s all-time maxes.
That’s not just big. That’s superhuman.
Which one is the most insane to you? @FrancisMauigoa

Guilt says "I did a bad thing."
Shame says "I am a bad thing."
Big difference 🧠
We're breaking down how to move through both with @AaronTaylorCFB's MindFlex episode. #MindflexMonday #MentalHealthMonday

Sad news last week, but we’re able to smile thinking about Coach Holtz and Coach Moore drawing up run block schemes for the best O-Line in heaven.
Rest in peace, Coach.

Logan Jones (299 lbs) just ran a 4.90… and the math is terrifying.
Using kinetic energy (½mv²), this Iowa OL is carrying about 5,261 joules.
That’s like a bowling ball going 85 mph, a heavyweight champ’s punch, or a charging grizzly.
And yeah… that same force helped power a Joe Moore Award O-line.
I don’t have footage of my ’93 40, but I can confirm it did not earn me these comparisons. @HawkeyeFootball

Tape beats tape measure.
Everybody loves a number at the NFL Combine.
But the only number that matters is what shows up on Saturdays.
In this NFL Draft breakdown, we’re looking at why “short arms” are treated like a red flag for edge rushers, and whether that actually holds up on film. Two of the top defensive end prospects in this year’s draft, Rueben Bain and Cashius Howell, are being tagged with the short-arm label. On tape, they’re still finding ways to win.
Here’s the big idea:
Short arms only matter when a pass rusher doesn’t have an answer.
If a player can win early, keep blockers off their chest, and consistently convert speed to power with clean hand usage, the measurement becomes a footnote.
This video breaks down the key film plays that show:
How Bain wins despite the “arm length” narrative
How Howell creates pressure with timing, leverage, and power
Why scouts and coaches still care about length
Why film study matters more than a tape measure when evaluating NFL Draft prospects
If you’re into NFL Draft film, edge rusher evaluation, and the traits that translate on Sundays, this one is for you. @CanesFootball @AggieFootball

“There’s very few men in my life that I’ve met, for a guy that grew up without a father around that needed to learn the lessons that only men can teach men. And Holtz, man, I’m getting emotional thinking about this, but like Holtz was one of those men.” Love you @AaronTaylorCFB

They call him "Big Cisco," but "big" doesn't even begin to cover it. Standing 6'6" and weighing in at 335 lbs, Francis Mauigoa is a physical anomaly. According to Mario Cristobal, he is the most muscularly dense player to ever measure in during his tenure at Miami.
But in the NFL, size is just the entry fee. Can he play?
The numbers say yes. Mauigoa has allowed only 2 sacks over the last 2 seasons, a stat that earned him the prestigious Jacobs Blocking Trophy. We’re talking about elite, rare-air territory for an offensive lineman. The mock draft folks got him going top five to the Giants. However, the million-dollar question remains: is he just a dominant college force, or is he a legit Top 5 NFL Draft pick? We got to go to the All-22 for our answer. @CanesFootball @FrancisMauigoa
