@Noahpinion You seem to be talking about something 250 years ago as if it’s relevant today. That’s stupid.

@paulg @Noahpinion That was a quarter of a millennium ago. A different time, different rules…a different world. Utterly irrelevant to today’s. Enforce immigration laws.

@daveydo2000 @ICannot_Enough The argument could work the other way too. I never considered buying an EV until the anti-Tesla vandalism and bombings plucked my nerves so bad I went and bought a Tesla.

@aliraz @ywomendeservles Yep. Even if there are kids. I hate that this is true but it’s true. There are no great options after this, but in the long run cutting contact and never looking back is the best option.

@ywomendeservles Men take notes. If that ever happens to you, be like this dude. Cut the cord and never look back. Even if you have kids. You don't want the kids to find out that their dad was a chump. The woman made this decision.

@Joel7Richardson @DPGBehler Yep it’s the only Gregg debate I didn’t much enjoy. I’m just going to say it White is an a-hole more interested in sounding smart than getting at the truth.

Michael Heiser on why he was never going to debate James White on Psalm 82, and I think he makes a really good point that exposes White’s scholarship.

A man who does not cut hobbies and freely choose to spend lots of time with his family is not a good man imo. I went from 40 rounds of golf per year to around 3. Not bragging - it should be common sense. Career? I wish I could have given that up 😂 As for the wife “losing her identity” - that’s insane babble.

We need to talk about the grief of losing your entire identity to motherhood while the man you married gets to keep his hobbies, his freedom, and his career completely uninterrupted.

@AaronUniversal @FurtureRichKid They serve different markets! NVDA GPUs are monopoly at this point but AMD’s run from 200 to over 400 is not just because of GPU but its dominance in CPU. Please don’t use ‘chips’ as it doesn’t mean what you are trying to say. GPU racks is what you’re trying to say

Yes and that’s why intel is hot too. I’m saying PE ratios matter and I stand by my statement NVDA has the best chips. My biggest investing regret of the year was not pulling the trigger to buy an AMD call option when it was sub-200 so I know a little about it. Bottom line I’d bet a month’s salary that NVDA will outperform AMD over the next year.

@AaronUniversal @FurtureRichKid When you end with “NVDA chips are still better” means you’ve no idea why AMD is so hot right now! It’s not just GPU market share but the CPU bottleneck for running those GPUs. AMD has both! I bought a whole bunch at average 97 dollars last year in April and I’m over the moon now

This man goes out to lunch with a couple of friends and runs into a waitress who recognized him from almost a decade earlier. Back then, during Thanksgiving, he had stepped in to help her and her mom when their EBT card didn’t work at the grocery store. Not only did he pay for their food, but he also made sure the little girl got the Sweet Tart roll she had been wanting — telling her, “Every little girl should have something special during the holidays.” Years later, that small act of kindness had stayed with her. Her mom had since passed away from breast cancer, but she never forgot what he did. She ended up comping their entire lunch that day — and his friend left her a $300 tip. The smallest acts of kindness can ripple through someone’s life for years in ways we may never know. Have you ever had someone do something kind for you that you still think about years later?

@DavidWilso68155 @OfficialTourPro Yeah good point. Probably should have been a top five all-timer or at least top ten with his insane talent. All those major runners up. I’ll never forget watching ‘96 masters with my dad. Very sad.

@OfficialTourPro Both Tway and Mize were against The Shark in back to back majors. Both shots impossible and were 15-20 ft passed if they hadn’t hit the pin. Norman would have been sitting on 3 majors at 32 years of age right in his prime. Probably goes on to win 6-8 majors. Robbed

@Invest_Brandon How high should I build my portfolio before quitting? I’m 48 and make 95k at my job (in a state that’s on the low side for cost of living). If I could, I’d leave so fast the only thing left of me in the building would be my still spinning chair.

There will be a point in your life where you realize... Going to work at your day job is actually costing you money to be there. You'll realize your time is much more valuable than your hourly rate and you can produce MUCH more money investing or simply doing something else...

@albertanbeech Absolute staple along with legos for my two boys for years around 5 - 12. Wars with selves, sister, relatives and friends, imaginary enemies. Like everything else they started losing interest around 13. Now they’re all bins in our shed.

@Fel_Cher_ @TourSwingsTommy I think it’s because he was not as well known as Ernie and other sweet swingers. He won a major but wasn’t quite on top as long as some of the others.
