Does it still use those shitty weak Torx head bolts? Or did they upgrade them? I’ve pulled out 50 years old small block Chevy head bolts and reused them as they’re tough hex head bolts. Great engine. I’d love one in an old Chevy truck, but the Europeans do love overly complex stuff to solve simple problems.

Rumours suggest Angela Rayner could take over from Rachel Reeves as Chancellor. She left Avondale High School in Stockport at 16, pregnant and with no qualifications. She later studied part-time at Stockport College, where she learned British Sign Language and gained an NVQ Level 2 in social care. She never went to university. She has no financial services experience.

The City of London controlled that choke point through its extortion racket insurance schemes from Lloyd’s. They knew exactly what was going on. They tried to call Trump’s bluff by pulling their insurance. Unfortunately for them Trump stepped in and saved the day💪🏻 Trump is not exposing the Euro tyrants as such. He’s allowing them to expose themselves by their responses to him. Art of war.

@JohnSimpsonNews You’re a city of London gimp John. You’re a deceiver. Stop bullshitting us. We’re breaking away from the old British order. You can’t fight the US, Russia and China as a sovereign alliance. It’s going to be great watching you Eurofags go down.

I respectfully disagree. In only 20 months Pres Trump will be out. His successor will almost certainly want to repair the fences Trump has kicked down. But America’s allies will always remember this episode, and will never rely on the US like they used to. telegraph.co.uk/world-news/202…

We’re not tolerating the city of London war mongers anymore. The future is sovereign countries free from the grip of the Euro tyrants. You know this very well. You’re a deceiver. We just need to see how the Eurofags dig in and finish destroying Europe or whether our pathetic populous can see the light and stop supporting their own demise. As a Londoner I want the future that was stolen from us by these Euro assholes. Trump is the man for our time. We’re blessed to have him.

Good luck continuing to wage your war against Iran without your German bases. Well nigh impossible. US troops aren’t in Germany to protect Germans. They’ve been there to project US power. Bye bye.
Nick Sortor@nicksortor

🚨 JUST IN: President Trump says the US will be withdrawing "A LOT" more troops from Germany than the 5,000 announced yesterday FINALLY. Bring our troops home! We don't need NATO — NATO needs US! "We're going to cut WAY down and we're cutting a lot further than 5,000" 🇺🇸

If you think your car is expensive to service, consider this. If you own a Bugatti Veyron: An oil change typically costs between $20,000 and $30,000, primarily due to extensive labor (over 25 hours) and specialized parts required for the service. It requires removing multiple body panels, to access 16 drain plugs. Tires: $8,000 - $42,000+ per set of four. Wheels: $50,000 per set (recommended every 10,000 miles). Brakes: $118,000 for front brake discs, pads, and calipers. In conclusion. Over four years, maintenance, including tires, fluids, and specialized parts, can exceed $400,000 to $500,000 Crazy, isn't it?

It’s absolutely incredible, doing some car shopping, now nothing, and I mean nothing appeals to me right now. G wagen - ruined by their owners. Mercedes overall seems to be made for nightclub owners. Audi is COMPLETELY lost. BMW is clearly going for the Chinese market. Porsche is okay, but what they want for a Macan GTS is criminal. I own an FJ cruiser, so I don’t need reliable/durable. Maybe another Jaguar - F-Pace SVR?

@PauloNoggy First time buyers have been replaced with councils overpaying rents for migrants in my town. That decreases supply, but these people aren’t ‘buyers’.

I've regularly been looking at UK property prices for like 5yrs now, looking for investment opportunities. I've never seen a market like this, oversupply, very expensive but no one is budgeting because the new reality is too painful to accept. Also no first time buyer market.

With debasement of currency and the fact you can’t export a house, that debasement was eventually going to show up in an increase in house prices. To get round that houses were then presented as an investment instead of a home, combine that with feminism and you get people happily abandoning their kids with strangers to try to keep up with a debasing currency.

What if the biggest “win” for families in the last 50 years was actually a trap? Rory Sutherland dropped this on Alex O’Connor’s podcast: The two-income household started as a nice option. Both partners work, more money comes in. Feels great at first. Then reality shifted. Governments got double the tax. Existing homeowners watched their property values soar. House prices rose to match two salaries. Suddenly one income wasn’t enough anymore — even for high-earning singles like consultant surgeons. Families traded ~35 hours of free time per week for only modest gains in lifestyle. What began as freedom quietly became an obligation. And it left single people and parents who want to raise their own kids at a real disadvantage. This one stings because we sold it as pure progress. Personally, it makes me question how many modern “upgrades” we’ve normalized without counting the real cost — especially lost time with family. What’s something you once thought was clear progress that now feels like it came with a heavier price than we admitted?

I’ve been a bit too grumpy/snappy with some people today. It’s just so exhausting having the same disagreements over and over again with people (especially journos and academics) who are spouting dogma without checking their assumptions. Yes we need to build some homes in some places where there’s genuine demand/need and a local shortage. But there isn’t the national shortage everyone seems to think there is. All I want is for everyone to be able to afford a decent home. When academics and journalists alike are peddling lobbyist interests without even knowing it, they’re just being useful idiots and they’re making the affordability problem worse. It’s exhausting. Send help.

MR. GOLD. ....aka Jim Sinclair, in conversations with @JB_Slear and myself in the early 2000s calculated it will take gold going to over $82,000 an ounce to equal just the US Dollar's derivative exposure that was in existence then in 2003. Based on inflation of both the dollar and the expansion of derivatives, AI estimates that it will be in excess of 276,000 dollars to the ounce to cover the debts in the derivatives systems now.
