I’d love one in an old Chevy truck, but the Europeans do love overly complex stuff to solve simple problems.

I’ve been a bit too grumpy/snappy with some people today. It’s just so exhausting having the same disagreements over and over again with people (especially journos and academics) who are spouting dogma without checking their assumptions. Yes we need to build some homes in some places where there’s genuine demand/need and a local shortage. But there isn’t the national shortage everyone seems to think there is. All I want is for everyone to be able to afford a decent home. When academics and journalists alike are peddling lobbyist interests without even knowing it, they’re just being useful idiots and they’re making the affordability problem worse. It’s exhausting.
