Deeply disturbed by the news coming from across the LoC. The killing of more than a dozen protesting civilians and police personnel is extremely sad. The Government there should know better than to use force to handle public grievance and demands in this manner. When people take to the streets to express their concerns, it is a signal that they seek to be heard. It is the responsibility of those in authority to listen, engage and peacefully resolve the matter, rather than allow it to escalate into violence, arbitrary arrests and loss of life. Hope and pray that better sense prevails and the matter is handled with maturity while addressing the concerns of the people.

I hear that the situation is not good in Azad Kashmir. A big crackdown is being imposed on people and many deaths are being reported. 😔 My prayers are with the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. 🤲

You have no idea what’s is happening in Kashmir . So it’s better to stay quiet and don’t interfere in our internal affairs. We have been tolerating your behavior and tweets on our internal matters . It’s just because we see Türkiye as our brotherly country . Though we can comment on lots of developments in Türkiye but we never do that because we never interfere in internal matters of other countries . In Türkiye 2016 when coup happened on 15th July we supported Türkiye as our brotherly country and supported Stability & Peace in Türkiye. So mind it .
