Pete Hegseth stood at a Pentagon podium this weekend and threatened to bomb Iran’s civilian power grid.
Under international law, intentionally targeting civilian energy infrastructure is a war crime. This isn’t a fringe legal interpretation, it’s settled law. And the Secretary of Defense said it out loud, on camera, in front of reporters.
This is the Secretary of Defense threatening atrocities on live television to pressure a foreign government into a deal. That is not diplomacy. That is not how a nation bound by the rule of law operates.
Pete Hegseth is entirely unqualified and quite dangerous. He should have never been confirmed. He should resign.

I am cosponsoring @RepYassAnsari's Articles of Impeachment against Pete Hegseth.
He has repeatedly obstructed efforts to conduct oversight, intervened in the promotions of qualified Black and woman officers, and launched us into an inhumane war with Iran in which our military has put civilians at risk—including destroying a girls’ school in Minab.
He has completely abused the power of his office and must be removed immediately.

For the 28th time in 45 days Trump has declared victory in the Iran war only to have Benjamin Netanyahu publicly humiliate him.
Iranian gunboats fired on a tanker in Strait of Hormuz as Tehran escalated by closing the Strait after Israel broke the cease-fire.
Trump ignored, Pentagon warnings not to attack Iran, and now he is demonizing anyone that tells him the truth.
