Dear Xiaomi Team, My name is Khan Abuzar, and I am writing this with a lot of stress, frustration, and hope that someone at Xiaomi will truly understand my situation and help me. I bought a Redmi Pad 2 for my work as a Pharmacy Medical Representative. This tablet is not just a gadget for me — it is a very important part of my daily work. I use it for doctor visits, medicine presentations, taking orders, reporting, and managing my daily tasks. My entire work routine depends on this device. Within just 5 months of normal use, the tablet suddenly became completely dead because of a motherboard failure. I trusted Xiaomi and submitted the device to your authorized service center in Thane. They kept my tablet for around 15 days and finally replaced the motherboard. During that time, I already had to take leave from my work because I could not perform my daily tasks properly without my tablet. Somehow, I managed the situation and trusted Xiaomi again after the repair. But my shock and stress became even worse when the newly replaced motherboard also became dead again within just 15 days. I could not believe that the same major issue happened again so quickly. I submitted the tablet again, and now it has already been lying at the service center for around 14 days. After making me wait this long, I am now being told that the required parts are not available. Sir, I am under extreme mental stress because of this issue. My company has already warned me that if I do not bring my tablet back soon, my job may be terminated. I am already facing financial loss of around ₹2000 per day because my work is getting affected badly. I come from a normal family, and losing my job because of a defective tablet is something I never imagined. Every day I am feeling more helpless and stressed. On top of that, the service center is almost 30 KM away from my home, and many times they do not even answer my calls. I have repeatedly travelled, waited, and followed up, but I still do not have any proper solution. Sir, I respectfully want to say that after repeated motherboard failures within such a short time, this no longer feels like a normal repair issue. I truly believe this device has a serious manufacturing defect. I humbly request Xiaomi to please understand my situation and provide me with a full replacement of the device instead of another temporary repair. I trusted Xiaomi products, but right now I genuinely feel helpless because my career and livelihood are getting affected because of this issue. I am requesting you with folded hands to please help me before I lose my job because of this situation. @BRSProBMG @timexiaomi But the Redmi a5 is also an entry level device with a unisoc t7520 which is quite stronger than t603 which should be able to run hyper os even if it's just the basic features

which would improve the quality of the os. I've waited a long time only to find out that Redmi a5 won't be getting android 16 or 17 with hyper os. I'm outraged at the moment because the Redmi a7 recently released has hyper os and the Redmi a5 and a7 both use the same processor .

I'm currently a user of Redmi a5 whose current os is android 15 go. Recently I saw an article saying that Redmi a5 would be getting hyper os which is a great improvement as the current os is bland and does not even contain any hidden features such as themes features.
