Revisions and deadlines have become my new routine of early 2026.

Reviewed 13 papers in total for the last three months, most of them were critical reviews on Alzheimer's disease and its therapeutics.

Started this year with a positive energy for contributing to scientific rigor, not just as an author but as a peer reviewer. Happily, invited by the four different journal Editors in just twenty days of 2026.

Upgraded from @CSIR_IND Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to Senior Research Fellow (SRF).

The year 2025 has been a great year for my research profile, as I move forward into 2026, with 4 publications and 3 under communication from this year. Invested a lot of energy & time into neuroscience. Notably, I will be upgrading CSIR-JRF to SRF in Jan, 2026.

Recently, a review article on Neuroprotective attributes of Urolithins in Parkinson's disease, on which I am the second author, has been accepted for publication in Molecular Neurobiology (IF 4.3).

Communicated a paper a few days back, and it was processed for under review within a day of submission. So fast!!!

Happy to share that I have been awarded an @alzassociation grant to advance our work on astrocyte lipids in tau-mediated neurodegeneration. Key gaps remain in understanding glial lipid metabolism in AD and related diseases, and I’m excited to drive this work forward! #ALZFunded

@payal_jos I cleared CSIR NET JRF in the first attempt with a percentile of 99.6 and AIR under 100.

I cleared SET and GATE exams in my first attempt itself without any coaching classes. Thanks to the childhood habit of reading newspapers and later all those big chemistry reference books.
