@JeremyVineOn5 Nope - jail is just more pubic expense. Fine them what they stole and make them work the equivalent hours for free too - doing something of benefit to the community / less privileged

Should all benefit cheats be jailed? A woman who said she was housebound has been caught out after she was photographed running a 10k. Helen Green claimed 25,000 pounds in benefits, and now she's been jailed for seven months. What do you think?

@TheatreSpoonie @Jacqkelly I'm genuinely surprised that this is your experience. I never struggle to get a salad, and a choice of salads at that, wherever I go to eat out in the UK. I wonder if it's related to where you have visited, or the types of cafes you've tried I'm not sure. But really surprised!

@Jacqkelly If only the UK had that. I miss being able to get salads pretty much anywhere.

@elliehodges62 Write to your MP or better still arrange to speak to your MP. If everyone who was dissatisfied with their NHS experience tried to do something about it maybe we'd get somewhere

My nan has had to be taken to A&E and the wait time is 7½ hours. This is absolutely unacceptable. This is not an NHS we should be proud of. People shy away from talking about it but the NHS is clearly not working. Those in need are facing huge delays in getting help.Guess what! the answer isn’t just to keep putting money into it. The system needs to change. Disgusted.

@CherylGrainger4 "Told yesterday"... You should really verify your sources and stop being so gullible. This did not happen.

Told yesterday of a couple in their 80’s who went to their GP surgery to make an appointment to change her tablets as she has cancer. She was told she couldn’t have an appointment for several weeks. They sat in shock, then a woman who couldn’t speak much English came in to book and was given one the following day. The gentleman went to complain and was told they get paid £184 to give an appointment to the other lady. Shocking. 2-tier system.

@therealdeal506 @Poppy_yyyyyyyy They really don't you know. More like NHS England hold the practices hostage to their demands. Practices have to jump through hoops to keep the contract and obtain even the basic funding from NHSE

@Poppy_yyyyyyyy Most GP practices are privately owned by a group of GPs, set their own rules and processes and tend to hold the NHS hostage to their demands 😢 They love their private sub contractor model but actually it’s ineffective, inequitable and is not cost effective

I’ve spent the day enjoying the services of our wonderful NHS, just to be hung up on by a receptionist who relished in telling me they wouldn’t prescribe the medication they’ve given me regularly for several years. This was after an appointment with a medical student (I was told it would be a GP) that was an hour later than the time I was told to be there and he wanted me to stay there for an indefinite time to see an actual GP face to face. I ended up crying tears of frustration so they told me to phone the Samaritans. I don’t want to phone the Samaritans, I just want my very easily prescribed medication.

The snooker world championship is almost unwatchable with sound on due to the constant audience coughing. It's bizarre that so many folk cough among a relatively small crowd.
